[Soundwave is another one of those who doesn't address the telepathic network often. Unless it's important. This is important. Attempt #1 at trying to live a normal life.
Though rather than the giant mech, everyone will be greeted by the image of his cute avatar. Or Sonia as some would know her by. To keep up with the "normality", the voice coming through isn't a robotic monotone either. It's a young female monotone instead.]
Greetings. If it is not a bother, I would like some... help.
I've recently taken up cooking again after years of without practice. It was a short-lived hobby due to an... unforeseen development. [The girl's not going to go about the details. Not really the point of this.] But now I wish to revisit it again.
[For multiple reasons.Reasons being he has no idea what to do with himself here and is purposeless.]
As far as my knowledge goes, I am only able to bake apple pie and cookies. I wish to explore more than that... However, I do not know where to start. With that said, tell me your favourite dishes and food. It would aid me greatly to find a start somewhere.
I'm wondering if anyone is willing to assist me as well as I am only a beginner when it comes to cooking. I've... never cooked with fire before. [He needs a teacher or a supervisor, basically.] Your assistance would be appreciated.
[...]
Ah, perhaps I should find tasters as well.
[Or he could subject his friends to his experiments. Either or.]

He closes his eyes for a moment to better focus on remembering it.]
I will offer my heartfelt gratitude to anyone capable of making a decent fruit sandwich.

[She doesn't know whipped cream is involved.]

Oh, yes, clearly. I feel it shouldn't be too complicated for you. Though I rather wonder if you are familiar with the recipe at all?

I cook all kinds of things for the people at my house, and I bake at Sweetie Pies, but the best teacher you could find is Snow White.
Image
[He's visited the bakery a couple of times with Ciel before. Good place to drop by at times. But, huh, one of the staff replied...]
If she wouldn't mind and have the time, I suppose I could get in touch with her about that.
Re: Image
[ It's hard to tell if the positive connotation he's conveying is more about the pride in having grown so much or appreciation for Snow White herself and the resulting fondness. ]

[ Cooking is one of the few things she enjoys and feels decently good at. She had to be, since she had a glutton of a sister back home. ]
I'm sure sandwiches are a thing here, but not really sure about hamburgers. That's one thing I kinda miss back home, and it's easy to make.
Text
I believe there are hamburgers here. I never had one before, so I'm not sure where exactly you can find them.
[Partly because he's not sure about meat and has been avoiding them since his arrival. But mostly preference for all things sweet and desserts.]
I'm looking for easy dishes to make. I don't believe I am quite ready yet for anything above easy.
Re: Text
Yeah, hamburgers fall into that category. I don't have a place of my own yet to make them so do you want to meet up? We can go shopping for ingredients first, so maybe at a supermarket? Or market, whatever. It's not like I have anything to do.
[ That feel when no internet ]

[She doesn't offer any of her own favorites. Satou isn't sure what the "correct" answer would be, and doesn't want to risk seeming like a fool.]

True, but I've already baked and eaten plenty of my own apple pies before this. They turned out well. I thought I should branch out more... I'm not sure where to start.
no subject
There are other kinds of pies you can make. Maybe... those meaty pies? Mikky used to make those. They tasted really good.

[ A few months as a broke college student definitely helped Mayuzumi pick up how to make basic and cheap meals pretty fast. ]
I mean, rice in general is a pretty basic place to start.
Image
[The girl only experience with food are... desserts and baked goods.]
But if it is the basic, all the better for me.

Is.
So.
Weird.
No, actually, it's absolutely bizarre, and Drift has to put in real effort not to laugh just to get through how mind-boggling it is.
There's something to be said about cooking, though, given that's... really their option here, isn't it? No Energon and all.]
My only real experience with fire is an over-reactive captain with mods he shouldn't have. Please be sure whoever you end up asking is better with it than Rodimus.
voice;
He knows the risk he's taking here- anyone who knows him, even in passing, would find this weird. But making this anon just to ask for cooking advice would be unnecessary, even if it would protect his identity.
That still doesn't help the cringe he feels when he recognizes who responded to this.]
...I only take those who know what they are doing in the kitchen.

Mitarashi dango. Stir fry. Katsudon--ah, pork-and-rice bowl. Or any meat on a bowl of rice, really. Chicken's the easiest meat to cook with, though. I'll eat anything, but my favorite is mitarashi dango.

Mita... rashi dan...go.
[She's trying her best.]
I don't know what that is... But is there a recipe I could find about it? [Details. That would help a lot.]

So, what have you tried so far, outside of what you know? And how many people have come forward to help?
[... Apple pie and cookies are pretty odd ones to know first off though.]
no subject
I see...
[Extreme heat, ok. Not... sure why she felt the need to say that at the end there. But ok.]
So far... Hamburger. That was the first time I cooked with fire, though, I had someone helped walk me through with that one... Eight people have answered the broadcast and gave me their ideas. Most seem to be recipes from their home.
