I ordered from them,paid,no response,no nothing. This was Aug 17th. I've emailed 2x ,with no replies,so I googled them,and a few fraud reports popped up. Same story . I'm reporting them to the FTC and atty generals office of my state,and the state they are allegedly in,but please pass this on. As the website looks great,and they just take your money and run.
I'm interested in picking up a couple more stones. But as I'm living in China currently...finding a place here with verifiable quality? Not so much. So internet it is. So I'm looking for recommendations for places online to order stones from that have good quality specimens. Not museum quality or anything, since I'm on a budget, but good quality tumbled or rough pieces (and ones where you're sure you getting what you asked for, since some stones can be confused with one another in pictures).
Preferably, of course, someplace that ships worldwide. Though failing that, I have family and friends in the States that could ship things to me. Specifically, in case it helps, I'm looking for Red Calcite, Honey Calcite, Larvikite, and Fire Agate.
So, I was gifted a pendulum yesterday. I have a few, but i've not actually come across one like this. It's a clear quartz that's wrapped in copper wire with a small magnet on either side of it. It's a big crystal too, about four inches long. The friend which gifted it to me, told me it was magnatized, or maybe it was polarized. one of the two. obviously it would be both due to the small magnets i mentioned. any way, my question is, has any one any idea how this effects if at all the function of the pendulum? cheers. ~Nic
do people ever give you odd reactions when you give them stones as a gift? i have a habit of doing so, and people's reactions are generally very amusing to me. most of the time i don't tend to explain, either. that could probably be a part of it......
i found a sore lack of discussion on the topic in LJ so i finally decided to move my Yahoo Group Initiative over here. the hope is for a fellowship of sorts, learning, and sharing; but more importantly, a group of willing participants to join the collective consciousness of healers targeting individual planetary healing causes.
i've only posted the intro for now, but in the coming days and weeks i will slowing transfer over some of the conversations and some of the past healing initiatives that are relevant anytime. for example, the health of the planet's water supply was our weekly healing focus one time. other times our focus had relevance to a timely humanitarian crisis or natural disaster. of course the present focus now is the crises in HAITI.
Well.....here it goes.....about a year and a half ago, I decided to begin to find my spiritual path.......it has been an exciting, odd, eventful, and sometimes frustrating ride....
I felt myself "awaken" inside, as to exactly what I was not sure....
I consulted three psychics who basically told me the same thing....the first that I was a lightworker (having never heard of this, I looked it up and thought, wow, I think I am).....the second told me my energies were very vibrant and that I was temporarily blocked spiritually b/c I did not trust my intuition, and when this was resolved, my life would be completely filled....the third, well, the third told me in a past life I was a hedgewitch (still don't really think I believe in more then one carnation) and that I was born an energy healer, and my primary passion was to heal women (this was true, as I had worked as a social worker and working with women was my passion), this psychic said that my energies were off the chart and to search for my niche........
The weird thing is, I believe they are right........I believe we chose to come here to progress our souls, and learn lessons, and I have always felt I was meant to be a healer (thus, my career as a social worker)
I keep begin drawn back to reiki, however, my experience with it a year ago was scary...I wanted to cleanse myself of all of the abuse of my childhood and went three times and could not go back...I do not feel I was ready at the time...
I just feel like I need to connect with others who have the same ideas as myself and also to learn from them
