I Must Find My Own Path To The Future.

Got the night off from work for the 4th... But I have to go to work tomorrow night... retarded? I think so but a day off's a day off so I'm taking a "I've been up 27 hour" moment to update this bad boy for the first time in... *looks* 6 months. so much for the revival, eh? In my defense it turns out I often think of things to post and do considering doing so but rarely have the energy or umption anymore to bother typing it down.

Playing Xenoblade again (also in my defense is I haven't played it since this time last year). still distraught over the lack of fandom. It is an untapped ocean of awesome ideas and hotness (OT7! Yeah, you read that right. Count 'em! 7!) Curious as to what that even looks like?

Now Monolith Soft is showing teasers for a new game that looks soooooo suspiciously similar to Xenoblade that my squee is overflowing at the possibilities. The damn thing is even titled "Project X"... and I give in to it wholeheartedly. This will be the reason I end up with a WiiU.

K, squee quelled for the moment. Good to know this journal still does some good. Gonna go play till I pass out. Those Nopons aren't going to quest themselves!


Also completely random... Finally got around to listening to Access's new album (yes, I'm aware it came out last year... I fail at life, yadda-yadda) Bottom line is I have missed these boys something fierce and see myself stuffing the discog on Tenn for work next week.

- Of course now that I have to think about it absolutely none come to mind except the animated stuff. Which is fine I guess... but even that's hard to answer, lol! ... hmmm... Peter Pan! Fuck this growing up and being responsible shit. Gimme eternal youth and flying and playing games all day!

- Ninja. Nothing quiet says "I want you to die" like 5-pointed metal projectiles >:D

watch 5 movies for the rest of your life, which ones would they be?

- Oh goodness! I don't think I even WATCH 5 movies more than once.

.3. Speed Racer (Sure, why the hell not. Still got mad love for that movie even though I haven't watched it in over a year D:)
.4. Hunt for Red October (Why not, I practically watched it every day for 2 months at one point and was entertained every single time. They're ALWAYS showing it on TV.)
.5. FF7: Advent Children (I do like this movie... but it's here more because I simply could NOT for the life of me think of a 5th one O_o') Like I said, not a big movie watcher. 3 of the movies on this list are over 20 years old.

4. What's your favorite era in history?

- I'm not a huge history buff sadly ^^' I always enjoyed hearing about Renaissance era though. Other than that, I've always been fascinated by nuclear stuff... so anywhere between the early 1930's through the 50's I guess.

5. Worst song lyric you've ever heard?

- There are maaaaaaany. But the two that come to mind are:

"I shit peanuts... Endless... peanuts." or

"To the windows, to the walls, to the sweat drip from my balls."

both make me want to give up on humanity entirely and nuke them all now to save the future from itself.

Lesseeeee, life lately:

- Cousin moved back to KY and we've been having a ball :) He's cool as hell, nuff said.

- Jen and I worked things out for the moment. The whole thing wasn't so much anything one thing that happened but I was really starting to feel like I didn't matter and that even sleep was more important than me. I'm nearly 25 years old, if that's how the rest of my life was looking then I was more than willing to cut awhile I was ahead. Had some serious talks and things were smoothed out. Been smooth sailing since then.

- I STILL want a DSiXL!! I NEEEEEEED ONE! Especially now that it comes in a color I actually LIKE! (sorry but poop brown and period red just weren't cutting it. Although I think I may have just found the titles for Poke'mon's next set of games!) *cough* getting one however will not prevent me from being just as rabid over the want/need of a 3DS when IT comes out ^^' (This is where having 2 gamers in the house helps. I claim one's mine and the other's hers :D it makes it look less indulgent, haha!)

- Been on a HUGE video game music kick. (I have over 5gigs of it on my Ipod at the moment ^^')

- Got to try Moonshine again for the first time since I was like 10, (haha, it's KY, wtf do you think they do in them hills besides their relatives and sheep?) This was "apple pie flavored" and OMG it was so good! So smooth~ That shit's illegal cause no one would ever buy normal liquor ever again~ not to mention the clear shit'll run a damn car! haha! (Have I ever mentioned that my great grampa was a moonshiner? Lol, not the one that disappeared in South America... I think that was great great or something.) Lol, my family history = fuuuuucked up awesome XD

- Mostly just working and bitching about that, haha. Been playing a lot of games lately in what little spare time I can muster. That's really about it. Been trying to eat better which may or may not be working >>' I hate having to eat so many times a day :p but they say that's how you're really supposed to do it. I was perfectly fine with eating one large meal a day but apparently my body things it's starving... so. blah. Stupid body. Least it doesn't bleed on me every month b^_^d

- I STILL haven't finished watching season 5 of DW. I am officially a horrible fan, haha! oh well >>' I don't have 6 hours to devote to finishing it right now!! bah!

Apparently LJ wants me to redo my damn layout... they've fucked something up where I can read my text anymore. Its defaulted to black and the text background has disappeared. fuckers. *sigh* I'll get on it when I feel like it. I've had this layout for years now. It's so perfect I can't think of one of replace it with :( Fandomy things are so fleeting with me it's hardly worth the effort to go that route. Humm... We'll see.

- That's the Harry Potter head honcho bad guy ain't it? Not into HP ^^' Never read/seen it except the spoof "Wizard People Dear Reader" and that was many MAAAANY years ago... so I dunno. Is he cute?

- Cookies and Cream. But it has to have HUGE yet very soft cookie chunks in it. I'm so simple :D

3. Whose hair would you want to have for one day? David Tennant's
cockatoo parrot spike or Josh Groban's magnificent jew-fro.

- I will have to say DT's spike cause 1: it's awesome and 2: I've actually seen it. Dunno nothing about Mr. Groban or his apparent chuzzle-hair :)

4. What is your favorite Michael Bolton song...if you have one (if you
hate him, tell me why)?

- "I said I loved you, but I lied." I grew up listening to a radio station that played nothing but "soft rock" and my silly fantasy loving child heart couldn't get enough of sappy love songs. This one was one of my faves cause it wasn't the typical "Ohhhh you're pretty, ohhhh we'll be together forever." It was funny cause he was like "nope, I fucked it up. You're too damn perfect." Of course... he put it much more eloquently and I snuggled pillows in bed most of my child life dreaming of a love so perfect XD

5. If you could go on a date with a celebrity over 60, who would it be
and what would you do with them?

- Christopher Lloyd!! Hands fucking down! I would make him go to museums with me and tell funny stories :D Of course bad ass lunch somewhere totally awesome (*cough* transportation MUST be a delorean >.>' */nerd*) that'd be the only psycho fan moment I think I'd have though. But yeah. Christopher Lloyd... being awesome and amusing me since I was 3 yrs old.

- Went on a cruise up the Ohio on "The Spirit of Jefferson" Saturday, had a fucking ball!

- Bar hopped to three different places with my Sis, My Bro-in-law, His father and a friend of ours. Got pretty tore down on rum&cokes chased with buds.

(I... totally forgot I typed up an in depth drunken report on all that earlier, lol.) </center>

- Life drama w/Jen. Gave her a ultimatum pretty much. Might be moving in with my sister otherwise. Don't really want to but it's up to her now.

- I WANT A DSiXL!!! NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED----- Need-need-need-need

- OMG MY COUSIN'S COMING BACK TO KY!!! W00t!! He wants to try and drive out next weekend (like, he's MOVING here!) I'm so fucking excited I can't hardly contain m'self!!

SO! My sis' friend works as a bartender for boats (Belle or Louisville, etc) and invited us to go on a cruise with her on the Spirit of Jefferson. So we went and it was totally bad ass. She hooked us up with free booze in which multiple Rum & Cokes (and I stress that they were RUM & cokes!) were consumed (I mean, it's pretty bad when the bartender herself goes "Wow, maybe I should put some coke in that..." XD it was bad ass and delicious... ANYWAY! gorgeous 3 hr cruise down the Ohio.

Got out of there and was going to meet bartender friend at a bar and hang out. But the bar we went to had a damn karaoke wedding reception (my ears cried :'( not even beer could save them) so we up and moved to another place with only 2 other people, loaded up the jukebox with music and played pool and laughed our asses off in which more beer was consumed... but they decided to close up at midnight (>:s Boo!) so we went to a THIRD bar wherein more beer was consumed, more pool was played and the bartender there laughed at the other place that made us leave. L-O-L. It's been an epic fucking day! and it ALL started with swimming and meatloaf! (I'm so leaving it at that and not even bothering to explain cause it sounds hilarious to me now.)

Well... not NEW new... she's a Ruby 2001 Toyota Corolla S! Black cloth interior, red backlight on the dash and says "Vroom" very beautifully :D


Ignore me, it was sweltering hot outside so I'm all hot, sweaty, frizzy haired and gross... but happy!

I've been staying at my Sis' while the fam was in town and me my sis and her BF have all been uber excited about the awesomeness of it in all it's beautiful vroomy glory... so I've had her a whole week and today was the first day Jen was going to see it.

I got off work, pulled up in front of the apartment, told her to look out the balcony window... nothing.

Me: "Ain't she beautiful!?"

Jen: "Did you wash it?"

Me: "No."

Jen: "Shiny."

Me: "You like it?"

Jen: "I'm coming to take a closer look."

So she comes down to the car I let her in and decide to drive her around back. Giving her a little taste of what my new baby can do. So Car and I make pretty vrooms to the parking lot and I take a turn fairly sharp to show the handling, speed up an demonstrate how nice and smooth the brakes are. Then park.

Me: "Whelp, this' her. What do you think."

Jen: "... ... Ohh~ *notices* It has cruise control, I remember hearing something about those messing up in Toyota's. Something about not being able to come out of it or switch gears to stop it."

Me: "... ... ... ...Thanks, I'm pretty sure you're the only person whose first impression of my car is that it's a piece of shit that's destined to fail. Thanks a lot."

At that point I stopped paying attention as she started whining and even now I'm wondering why the fuck I even bothered coming home.

I'll welcome my new baby home anyway. I'm about to go adorn her with Rainbow stickers like it's a initiation ceremony.

Welcome home baby :D Jen may think you're a piece of shit but she drives a Kia, you could eat her car and poop something nicer than that~! I love you <3 That's all that matters!

Got off work early friday. Was happy. On the way home, had a wreck, Was not happy.

Driving home another wreck had happened ahead so traffic had come to a stop.

Some dumb bitch on her cell phone wasn't paying attention, slammed her brakes, veered into the emergency lane, passing the two cars that had come to a complete stop behind me, over corrected and came flying right into me. She hit me so hard it spun both of us around where she hit me AGAIN in the front. I ended up sitting in the middle of Gene snyder blocking both lanes FACING traffic. Fucking sucked.

I'm okay, nothing broken or externally bleeding. My left shoulder is a swollen mass of unhappiness and I'm achy all over today... but I'm alive, that's the good thing :D

My car's completely totaled :'( Midnight Rainbow is no more.




There are two things that will never be understood:

1. How the hell did I walk away from this unscathed?
2. Traffic was at a complete standstill, how the hell did I not get knocked into somebody else?

*sigh* fucking sucky ass way to go about the weekend... T^T

Setting your phone to play "The song of Nephilim" as your alarm is creepy as fuck.

I did wake up creeped out and with a very high "WTF" factor.

But the idea of going insane and killing a bunch of shit under the song's influence is just so fitting to my normal morning that I am now in an excellent mood.

I MIGHT WILL! BE GOING TO SEE "THE MOODY BLUES" NEXT SATURDAY!!!

There is such an epic amount of 'fuck yes!' in that statement that it cannot possibly be expressed through written word.

Other than that. This week has been a bit up/down for me. Had Monday off for MD which was pretty nice, spent it hanging out with Jen (shock!), worked Tuesday then called in Wednesday cause we found out our water heater blew up and we had no hot water so I spent the day waiting for the guy to come fix it and just didn't feel like fucking with work that night -.-'

Been wanting to replay Xenosaga but I can't bring myself to actually go through the motion of pulled the games out, lol. (have I ever mentioned just how LAZY I am?) course along that same vein I've been wanting to write a fic that's been floating around in my brain for about 2 months now, so yeah... things don't get done quickly 'round here >>'

As far as my fandom life. Jen's got me playing around on Gaia online again. I'm probably about 12 years too old to be playing on that site but oh well. We've been having fun with their little online game at least =D

DW still amuses me greatly despite the WTF factors XD downloaded the new game they put out and piddled around with it for a bit (haven't had a proper chance to sit down and play yet though.) Already I have found out that instead of running away from the daleks like smart and player controlled Doctor does *waves* virtual Amy would rather run right up and hug the bastards and of course, if she dies, I die >:E stupid girl.

My last thought and only related in that it's about Who,
Am I the only person in fandom that isn't mad, disturbed or generally up in arms about the whole "Amy trying to snog the Doctor" thing in the end of "Flesh & Stone"?? It seems like every time I hear about it it's all cries of "MAN RAPE!" and "How DARE she!" wtf? My 8th grade science teacher once solved a class argument over a movie we were watching with words that have stuck with me ever since and it is the stand I take on this now: IT'S NOT REAL!!

So sit down, shut up, eat a cookie and enjoy the show!
