Hello, anyone who might read this. A friend of mine, the eccentric but tragically flawed Dr. M von Vogelhausen, is currently reviewing items he doesn't own on Amazon... http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/pdp/pro… and he writes a blog about the world as he perceives it... http://drmvonvogelhausen.wordpress… And I happen to know that he would love you (whoever you currently are) to visit, read, and perhaps even comment. Keep it real!

If humanity were to become extinct, do you think another animal species would evolve to take our place? What lessons do you think they'd learn from our successes and failures?
it would be the lemurs. they would learn nothing from us as they are notoriously single-minded, and would instead throw themselves immediately into a programme of public works in honour of the great Tractorhorn, their legendary forbear.
I would probably come to hate just one album over and over again. If not then I might choose a CD of the voices of my friends and family speaking, if I was alone on some kind of remote planet: because if I wasn't stranded then I'd pick a silent CD and spend my time with my friends going out and listening to live music when the mood took me. Without CDs you would hear music in other things, like the wind/rain/fire.
If it had to be a music CD, then it would probably be ( ) by Sigur Ros.
What (if any) books would you ban from a high school library? Are there certain subjects that you feel are inappropriate for teenagers regardless of literary merit?
sorry for the silence, i've been living, in the sense of just getting by; and these last two days i've been nanowriming. 3421 words so far, some nice menace going on at the mo.
spent 20 minutes considering cooking a jacket potato, talked about free time in French, literature, homesickness and grammar in Spanish, talked about the two sides of Shakira, stained my shirt with pickle, drank no end of tea, felt both too hot and too cold, forgot my mobile phone, produced a poster about haikus (haiku?) and didn't get a quarter of anything done.
I prefer a tent because when it rains i can hear that fury and know that i am protected; when it is cold i can last the night and the day will be so much warmer.
