1Wrestling.com is reporting that Bret Hart made the trip to Toronto after making an appearance in Buffalo yesterday. He planned to meet with WWE officials.

As far as is known, Bret was not scheduled to appear tonight, but "never say never" when talking about WWE. All that is known is that Bret is expected to be in Toronto. Read into it however you choose, but just remember that there is absolutely no confirmation of any appearance tonight.

World Wrestling Entertainment released updated lineups for their July Smackdown house shows at Budokan Hall in Tokyo, Japan. The lineups feature:

Friday 7/16 at Budokan Hall:

Off the original lineups are The Big Show (now scheduled to return from knee surgery in August or September), Rico (Injury) Jamie Knoble, Matt Cappotelli (Never brought up from OVW), and Paul London.

The 7/17 event is sold out, but tickets still remain for 7/16. The tour should be a big morale boost for the Smackdown roster, which has faced a number of house show cancellations in recent weeks.

Chris Jericho is scheduled to receive several honors this Monday in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. Premier Gary Doer will present Jericho with the Order of the Buffalo Hunt at 10:30 AM at the Manitoba Legislature. Mayor Sam Katz will then present Jericho with the key to the city at 1 PM in the City Hall courtyard. You can read more about the presentations in today's Winnipeg Sun article.

When the tenth anniversary edition DVD of Kevin Smith's film Clerks is released in September, one of the extras will be a series of spots Smith and Jason Mewes filmed as Jay and Silent Bob for MTV in the late 1990s. In one of the spots, current WWE diva Dawn Marie appears during a fantasy segment.

One of the latest items up for bid on the WWE's Auction site is the Katie Vick outfit from one of the Triple H segments. For some reason, I found that completely hilarious.

WWE Hall of Famer Sgt. Slaughter was mentioned in a London Free Press article about the longevity of the GI Joe toy line. Slaughter was the first real-life persona to be included in the toy line. You can read the article by clicking here.

"I hate to "spoil" all the "spoilers".....but Jeff has not signed a contract! He hasn't signed anything.....NOTHING!!! I don't care what some people are assuming from what was shown or said on TNA. Obviously, they did their job! And a pretty good one, too, seeing how many people have posted "confirmations" on Jeff's status with TNA. (I mean, FAXING contracts...) We have all stated more than once that none of that has happened, haven't we? And when something definite is decided or happens, I'll be sure to let everyone know just as soon as I know."

Smackdown did a 3.8 Overnight Rating last night.

Briand Gewirtz (I swear this is how they spelled it. -_-) wrote John Cena’s poop promo last night. Gewirtz is one of Vince McMahon’s right hand men.

Kevin “Mordecai” Fertig is on his way back down to OVW. Mordecai will be sent down immediatley for more “seasoning” before hopefully returning to the Smackdown! roster in the next few months. Mordecai was brought up for the specific reason of facing the Undertaker, but many WWE officials can tell that he is just not ready at this point.

Both the Raw & Smackdown! brands will be touring Canada with several house show’s over the weekend.

The Undertaker insisted that his character not be held in limbo as to whether he was turning heel or was to remain a face. That was the reason for the rapid movement and ended intrigue revolving around his character.

The WWE buyrate for WWE Bad Blood came in at 250,000 buys, which pitted Triple H vs Shawn Michaels in Hell In The Cell. Last year’s Bad Blood headlined by Kevin Nash vs Triple H scored 400,000 buys. The April WWE Backlash did 280,000 buys so the WWE continues a downward trend for recent PPV’s.

The WWE really likes Jackie and Charlie Haas as a team so they will likely continue on, even though Rico is suffering through his injury. Rico is expected to be out at least until August with a hamstring injury.

There is talk going around backstage in WWE that Alexis Laree could possibly be brought up to the main Raw roster soon under the name “Tina.” This is just a rumor at this point, however, seems very possible to happen.

- Seems that the career of Christopher Nowinski might be over. But in the ring only. The WWE are trying to find him another job with the organisation.

- The new music of Victoria isn't the most popular subject at the moment. The contract between the WWE and TATU is coming up and won't be renewed. Also, no one, and I mean NO ONE backstage loved Victoria's new entry, so expect some changes soon.
