Okay so not too sure if this is allowed on the community or not since it's for students or former students, but I am applying for the program this year. I'm feeling kind of intimidated by the various courses. I love writing and I'm pretty sure that CreComm is the kind of education I need to get the type of job I want, but I'm really shy and feel nervous about all the group work and presentations and general stress. I was wondering if any of you have any suggestions, advice or anything at all. I'd really appreciate. Thanks a lot.

so an ex-friend of mine/kinda friend of chris's decided to pass along some info to chris about a job opening at global. apparently global put an ad in the paper looking for some cre com grads to fill an entry-level tv reporting position.
i don't know any more details but yeah, just figured somebody might like to know. if you're interested i'd get on the horn and figure out what's going on by giving global a call. tell all your friends.

I'm also looking for two or three volunteers from first or second year to help me out with a conference on Saturday. I need volunteers to help host a dinearound event early Saturday evening. All you would have to do is take 5-10 people to a restaurant and chat with them throughout the dinner. Reservations are made already and you'd have to pay for your own meal only.
