Okay so not too sure if this is allowed on the community or not since it's for students or former students, but I am applying for the program this year. I'm feeling kind of intimidated by the various courses. I love writing and I'm pretty sure that CreComm is the kind of education I need to get the type of job I want, but I'm really shy and feel nervous about all the group work and presentations and general stress. I was wondering if any of you have any suggestions, advice or anything at all. I'd really appreciate. Thanks a lot.

reporting job or something?

so an ex-friend of mine/kinda friend of chris's decided to pass along some info to chris about a job opening at global. apparently global put an ad in the paper looking for some cre com grads to fill an entry-level tv reporting position.

i don't know any more details but yeah, just figured somebody might like to know. if you're interested i'd get on the horn and figure out what's going on by giving global a call. tell all your friends.

peace out.

IABC conference

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if somebody could hook me up with a cre com masterlist for the second years. Melissa sent one awhile ago and I can't seem to find it anywhere on my computer. Grrrr. E-mail to leschasingx@hotmail.com

I'm also looking for two or three volunteers from first or second year to help me out with a conference on Saturday. I need volunteers to help host a dinearound event early Saturday evening. All you would have to do is take 5-10 people to a restaurant and chat with them throughout the dinner. Reservations are made already and you'd have to pay for your own meal only. It's really simple and the food is good so help a cre commie out!
E-mail if you can help as I'm in a bind! Thanks

IPP

Who hasn't started working on their IPP presentation yet, raise their hands! *puts hand up*

Oh yes, I'm going to start writing it...now. And I rehearse tommorow. At least it's a subject I know well, so there doesn't have to be any complicated research for it or anything.

I don't want to talk for ten minutes. Why oh why did I pick a talking presentation project? I can't even really read anything to take up time either!
