creativechallengesmod: Creative Challenges (Creative Challenges)

* First of all, the general community rules of course apply to the prompt table challenges. So, please read and follow them.

* There are no limits to claims. You are free to claim as few or as many tables from as many challenges as you want to.

* Likewise, we don't have any minimum or maximum limits for works here. Your fills can be as small or as big as you want them to be.

* There are no deadlines for our prompt table challenges.

* Claims are automatically approved. You just need to go to the post dedicated to your desired challenge and leave a comment on it listing your claims. Then you can start working on your fills immediately. No need to wait for a response.

* Acceptable types of claim: fandom, characters, gen groups (Character A & Character B), romantic/sexual ships (Character A/Character B), crossovers, and groups and ships with three or more characters. You can also make general claims if you want to use the same table to create works for two or more different fandoms.

* If you want to drop a claim, simply go back to the challenge's post and leave a comment on it listing the tables you're dropping. In case you change your mind later, you can reclaim any tables that you've dropped, and if you had previously created any works for them, said works will still count toward your total. No need to restart from zero, unless you want to.

* You must create one brand new work for each individual prompt. You cannot submit old works as fills. And you cannot combine two or more prompts from the same table or from the same challenge into a single work. For example, if you claim two tables from the Sunshine and Rainbows Challenge, you cannot have a single fill count for both tables. You can only do that for tables that come from different challenges, as explained in the next paragraph.

* Any individual fill can count simultaneously for two or more different challenges hosted here. For example, if you claim a table from the All Alternatives Challenge, another table from the Clouds and Shadows Challenge and yet another table from the Sunshine and Rainbows Challenge, it's fine to submit a single fill that covers three prompts, one from each challenge.

* Your fills can count for challenges hosted elsewhere, as long as the rules of said challenges allow that.

* Prompts don't have to be taken at face value. You're free to interpret them in creative ways. All I ask is that your works stay true to the basic spirit of the challenge you're creating fills for. So, for example, while it's fine to mix angst and fluff for the Clouds and Shadows Challenge, it would be inappropriate to have your fills for said challenge be completely fluffy with absolutely nothing bad or upsetting happening to the characters.

* You can use the customizable tables available for each challenge to mix prompts from its various tables. You can also use prompts from external sources or your own ideas, as long as they somehow match the challenge's overall theme (or are neutral enough to match most kinds of challenge).

* Prompts in customizable tables don't necessarily have to be all unique. For example, if you pick a 30-prompt customizable table and you want to repeat the same prompt on each of its 30 cells, you can. Just make sure that you'll actually be able to create 30 different works from the very same prompt.

* If you have up to six fills that you want to submit on the same day, you're welcome to publish individual posts for each of them. However, if you have seven or more fills that you want to submit on the same day, please add all of them to a single post, so as not to flood the reading pages of our subscribers.

* When posting your fills, please specify the challenge they were created for on the post's subject line. And don't forget to add the challenge's tag to the tag field.

* Find below the header/posting template that you can use when submitting fills for our prompt table challenges. Keep in mind that it's not mandatory to post your works directly to the comm. You can post them elsewhere and just link them here. If that's the case, please remove the cut and put the link on its place. Or add the link to the work's title.

* Whenever you finish a table and post its final fill to the comm, don't forget to tag your post with *completed table! and to stop by the Prompt Table Challenges: Hall of Fame to add your name there.

Now, go and claim all the tables! Then, go and post all the fills!
