my posts are generally ignored. i suspect they’re just background noise for most people at this point. please don’t ignore this, you have the opportunity to throw someone a lifeline and do some real good. even if you don’t have any money, a reblog is free and can help get more eyes on these campaigns. none of them are on tumblr, to my knowledge. nobody sees these campaigns unless people reblog posts about them or make their own posts.

this list comprises the majority of my active gaza funds spotlight campaigns. i am actively spotlighting 20 campaigns. nine of them are critically stagnant, and six more are in danger of becoming critically stagnant. if nothing is done by tomorrow, four more campaigns will become critically stagnant, bringing the total up to thirteen.

these families cannot afford to wait! are they not worthy of support because they are not personally begging you for it? please do something!

It wasn't easy for me to say this because I'm a girl and it's a sensitive thing for us but it started affecting me and causing uterine diseases & infections...I suffered greatly from using pieces of cloth instead of sanitary pads, but I never imagined the damage would be so severe. 🚨VERMIN EMERGENCY🐀

In addition to Ayla’s ongoing health struggles, she now has to worry about rats and insects. Recently Gaza has become overwhelmed by vermin, which carry diseases and will even bite or eat human flesh. Unfortunately, the only solution available to families is to deploy pesticides around the living space. However, pesticides are difficult to obtain and therefore very expensive in Gaza, about $850 usd for the amount Ayla’s mother Bshaer needs for their living space. Bshaer needs your help to procure this unfortunate but very necessary item, as the only alternative is the increased likelihood of bites and diseases.

There has been no progress on their campaign in several days, and on top of this expense, they still need to treat Ayla gastroenteritis. They are in a really, really tough place right now and they need your help!

Sudanese American Physicians Association's medical aid program - they operate a hospital in khartoum, **the ONLY hospital still delivering babies in sudan**

One Million Sustainable Pads Campaign - distributes reusable pads

FAH Supporting Sudan - financial assistance to sudanese hospitals, backed by the FAH / federation of american hospitals

Community kitchen in Cairo - provides food to refugees who have fled to egypt

Community kitchen in Sudan - provides food for 1200 families

Another community kitchen in Sudan - provides food, only £1,500 raised so far

Sanad Initiative - raises money to keep sudanese medical students in school

Sudan Solidarity Initiative - run by sudanese diaspora, provides direct funds to all kinds of sudanese including farmers unions and low cost clinics, also runs awareness-raising workshops

and, finally, this isnt a community organization, but @lgbtq-refugees is a large group of LGBTQ refugees who have reached out to me personally. they have been kicked out of multiple IDP camps because of their queer identity. i can personally attest they are real refugees who really need help. you can donate to them here

Waled Al-Qatrawi's fundraiser is vetted at #480 on our verified fundraisers list. Him and his young children have been struggling to survive out of a tent made of scrap. They are exposed to the elements and the local fauna, and they are worried about snakes attacking them. They have no access to sanitation facilities, and Walid is looking to construct one urgently. Without regular access to clean water and soap, his children could get severely ill.
