modifying baby block for gathered bodice
How to take the basic block and turn it into a gathered bodice like Simplicity 4737 E-bay auction. (for image, link will expire!)

ladybrid this is mainly for you. Take the bodice block with the dropped shoulder modification.
For ease of simplicity I am not using the sloped shoulder seam modification.
Draw a line straight down from the neckline to the waist. (I chose to use the jeweled neck as it appears closer to the pattern, but you could use the wider neck with no issues)
Slash and spread along this line so there is a 1/2" gap at the chest line (since I had to make personal modifications to Munchkin's bodice, but the chest remains the same.)
Do this on front and back.
