I like driving around in the city on Sunday mornings, because about 80% of the population is at church or asleep. It sort of has this apocalyptic vibe; like this is how the world would work if the rapture came and saved all the mormons and all the heathens were left behind. It's kind of nice. More leg room.

Today is Ruth's last day. Well, she's technically moving out tomorrow morning, but I have the day off so for all intents and purposes, today is her last. I will miss her so so so so so much. I've only been on shift for a few hours and I've already cried three times. I have never been so attached to one of my residents, but omg do I love this lady.

Kristen is having a boy, for anyone who follows this yet did not already know this information. I am so excited for her! She's still deciding on names. For about a solid week she had picked out "Jett Richard" until she realized that the translation for that would pretty much be Black Dick so yeah. I still think Oliver.

Bought all the fabric for my giant squid plushie. I'm super excited to get it started, but I have to wait for jess to work out the pattern before anything can happen. It's dark brown for the body and a cool dot patterny type for his underbelly. It looks good, I'll post pictures of it later.

Been trying to get into LOST lately. It's kind of silly and dramatic but I'm a sucker for survival scenerios. Plus they have all the episodes up on netflix instant, so that's convienient. If you want to watch something trippy, see Big Man Japan. (Also available for instant view).

My wisdom tooth is coming in on the bottom left side, and it is one of the most painful things ever. With my insurance from work its still gonna cost me about 900 bucks to get them out, and it definitely needs to happen soon. And here I thought I was going to be able to take some time off for a real vacation :(

It's five in the morning, and I can't sleep.
Let's not talk about all the stuff that happened yesterday to induce my insomnia.
I have a score to settle with the mass public. Curiosity and all.
So, take a minute and vote, if you will in the Do You Have This Problem Too? Poll.

#1. I usually buy matching shampoo/conditioner sets. When I was a kid my mom was kind of cheap and would usually only buy the 2 in 1 combo bottles, so when I started working at the tender age of 15 I immediately started buying separated sets. And then I came across a problem. Despite the fact that the bottles are the same size, I always go through conditioner a billion times faster then the shampoo. wtf? I am guessing it has something to do with the way a little dab of shampoo can go a long way, as you can bubble up a whole head of hair (or, at least my thin shitty hair) with a quarter size glob. But with conditioner? I always feel like I've got to work a handful of it in, even though I know a normal sized glop will do the trick. I'm pretty sure I psychologically need to feel my head equally weighted with muck from both bottles otherwise I get a little twitchy and OCD, but in order to get a thick hat of conditioner you need to use an ungodly amount. Thus, I always have to buy two bottles of conditioner (at least!) for every one bottle of shampoo. My own retardation frustrates me. SO PLZ FRIENDS LET ME KNOW
