So I’ve noticed that while there are several Star Wars servers focused on OCs, I have not been able to find an OC-focused server for the Trek fandom (that isn’t a roleplay server). So I decided to start one! If you like Star Trek and making OCs, consider joining!

TOS: Sulu and Chekov 100% have swords stashed in the walls somewhere

TNG: At some point some poor Ensign opened up some paneling to do repairs only for a dozen knives to fall out all labeled “TASHAS DO NOT TOUCH”

DS9: Both Kira and Garak definitely have hidden weapons all over the station.

VOY: Tuvok says it’s for easy access in case of emergency.

ENT: Malcolm has so many guns and knives squirrelled away in strategic locations that it could arm everyone twice over. Some poor Ensign tries to take over his station while he’s in sick bay for a cold and nearly gets their fingers sliced off by his Workstation Tape Shurikens.

DISCO: Mirror Georgiou has definitely hidden axes and swords and daggers everywhere in her room in case of assassination.

LOW: Mariner canonically does this on the regular

I have a theory that there was one writer on Voyager who hated their job and wanted to go make Rocky-style boxing movies but was stuck in a contract and thats why there’s a weird amount of rocky-style boxing stuff in some episodes
