If you modded LiveJournal communities back in the day, please consider archiving them to Dreamwidth NOW. So much 2000s internet history lives there, and if LJ falls off the internet (as it very well might, depending on how things go in Russia in the near future), links will break and vast amounts of it will be lost. Wayback Machine only captures public posts; a Dreamwidth import can pull in locked posts and comments, and allow people to view them by joining the comm.

Unrelatedly - or maybe not, I don't know - Russia is engaged in a war, perhaps you've heard of it. So there's been an uptick in people posting in friending comms over on DW because they're giving up on LJ.

I decided to do it this way again because honestly, my ability for new things is sapped this year. I don't even drink new flavors of tea with the pandemic. You can ask my sister, she'll confirm that! So it was easier to do it this way rather than try to figure out if I could set up a Googledoc where some people could edit but all people could tag. (PM me if I can.)

I appreciate people letting me know that prompts have been claimed. The easiest way to do that is to leave a comment here with the prompt text exactly as written so I can quickly find it and delete it. Just copy and paste. You can also comment or PM me if I made an error somewhere and I'll fix it ASAP.

And it's eaten up a lot of my time, not just from the things I promised myself I'd do (keep up with my email, clear out last year's prompt list) but from the things I actually have to do (call various doctors and get various things straightened out, meal plan).

So come the morning - that's Thursday morning, apparently - I'm going to sit down and seriously handle all this stuff I'm supposed to freaking have handled.
