toby was very sick and twisted for having flowery say this considering ralsei being misindentified as asriel is a parallel to frisk being mistaken for chara

I get that Toby wants to differentiate Asriel and Ralsei, but the fact that Ralsei looks like a Dreemur has to mean something, Toby has too many different monster and darkner designs for two unrelated characters to look that alike.

Not only is Ralsei the only darkner to look like a lightner (except Gerson, but that's because he was a lightner), he's the only character to look like an unrelated character.

learning to notice an absence of people of color is crazy. you start seeing it everywhere. ill see a random pic of characters or people or whatever and be like "these are all white people. why"

all the babies in those baby youtube video memes. humanized character posts. like. its the little innocent shit. and like, the people making those baby memes probably arent seeking out white babies. maybe theyre just easier to find. but why are they easier to find? a complicated question, surely... but you know what it probably comes down to. someone, somewhere, maybe a lot of someones in a lot of places, made a choice. maybe knowingly, maybe not. but they made a choice. it starts to make you feel like a conspiracy theorist!!

its really funny that after 2 months this post is still making racists come into my askbox treating me like im a horrible person for pointing out that sometimes people of color are excluded from things in visible and offputting ways. cry about it

Realising the lack of people of colour in the world around me was a truly haunting realisation as a child/teenager, like I had a class member who was a person of colour and I remember thinking "Why is basically the only person here with your skin colour your sibling?"

It's a glimpse at something deeply wrong, you don't know better to understand why it's wrong, but you feel it, something's wrong and if this person wasn't here I wouldn't notice anything wrong and that feels even worse.

It's my first glimpse into the fact that something is deeply wrong with the world I live in

There is a really funny synergy between two deltarune theories nobody is considering

bonus:

How the prophecy reads now;

"And last, was the girl" - And finally Ralsei

"At last, Was the girl" - At last, Ralsei fulfills her role as the girl

Edit: Something that doesn't sit right with me about other interpretations of the prophecy is that the repetition of the 'was the girl' as it feels like it's repeating itself unnecessarily, but even if it is a meme, the very fitting way this solves this problem is very nice and in a way fitting of trick tony

I think my favourite interpretation ive seen of the weird route on a more meta level is the idea that the game literally should not be able to do that, and we’re completely fucking up gasters whole plan

Maybe, but one of my favourite theories is that the wierd route while maybe not a part of Gaster's plan, is certainly not unexpected. However, whatever the route with the twisted sword is unexpected
