Day 115

OOC: I realize big plots are coming up so I figure assuming or partial threading is probably going to be the case here. Also I had a car trunk lid slammed on my head a couple of days ago so I'm keeping up but my replies are generally slow. /hooray headache
So, I noticed that some of you are not too good at swimming. But some of us are really good. It's a little cool out, but I think it might be a good time to make sure people at least know how to keep their head up.
FROM: bellic.niko@cdc.org
I am guessing that I am not the only one that would be willing to show people how, and I am sort of wanting to take a swim anyway. Would anyone want to either learn or show?

The best way to teach someone to swim is to just throw them into the water.

It really doesn't work that well. :[

I can swim! I swim all of the time! I LOVE swimming. And just being in the water in general, really.
[Yeah, okay, thanks, Maya. Nobody could have guessed that for themselves, right?]
FROM: ayling.maya@cdc.org
I'm up for helping other people learn how! It's a really, really important thing to know, since large bodies of water can pose such a hazard. Lessons were mandatory in the schools where I grew up, cuz it was a coastal community. Besides, swimming is super fun.

Knowing how to avoid drowning is definitely something worth learning.

I'd be willing to help out if you need it. A nice swim doesn't sound too bad, anyway.
