Project Longhorn
In response to Divinedream's post, I found some more info on Microsoft's Project Longhorn. I thought maybe y'all would like to check this out, so here it is:

But I'm goin to have to agree with Mudo on the whole Palladium deal, I think it's just another way for Bill Gates to control everthing on the PC. Security is good, but I would like to retain some of my 'free' software. Just let me keep my trusty firewall and I'll be fine.
