Computer Geeks

Hi I'm new here. I know little about computers, but I'm trying to learn!!! I'm in a bit of a pickle, though.

Okay, so lately my computer has been acting extremely peculiar. It wont stream anything through Real Player, Windows Media Player, or directly through IE or Netscape.
My computer wont load anything macromedia related
I try to go to those silly Yahoo chat rooms via Yahoo Messenger and no ones messages show up...

there are some other quirks and I'm in dire need of assistance. I've done a system restore, I've fiddled with my security settings and still -- nothing. Can anyone help me? IM me @ xxxschismxxx on aol IM if you can, or just leave a message here....

But, as I know you brilliant people can possibly tell, I'm new here. But if you're wondering about my geek-dom, believe me, I am. I am an art freak, love comic books and action figures, sci-fi, star wars [am watching empire strikes back as of now], arcade games, console games, PC games, HTML, some photoshop skills,a music geek, all l337ish, I roleplay and all sorts of stuff..all keeping my grades up at school! w00tage [sad little girl, aren't i?]

Though, in all irony, it did take me a while to figure out how to join and post in a community. I got myself through it, though.

Soooo yeah. I think you guys are going to be cool to read about. ;)

Question...has anyone ever overclocked their computer? Is it worth it?
