@Sporti: , prvi dve mi je uspelo naložiti, tretja mi je pa spodletela. Bom poskusil ponovno jutri. Sem nekje zalsedil, da so bile težave pri nalaganju fajlov nad 100MB in da so te težave medtem že odpravili. Prosim za pomoč pri kategoriziranju naloženih dveh knjig. Meni vseskozi javlja 'internal error' - nemogoče je preveriti, ali je nalaganje uspelo in ponudi samo možnost, da znova naložim spodletelo datoteko. Bom spet probal čez nekaj dni.--ℳ₪Zaplotnik^contribs 17:49, 4 November 2014 (UTC)

@Sporti: Sem še nekajkrat poskusil, a brez uspeha. Naložil sem pa 8 datotek s starimi slovenskimi slovnicami, hvaležen ti bom, če preveriš, ali vse štima, predvsem predloge in dovoljenja. Ti uspe kaj narediti npr. z [7]? Majhna različica je že naložena, lahko čeznjo. Na žalost so blokiral uporabnika, ki jih je od tam prej nalagal, tudi sicer nisem našel kakšnih navodil ali koga, ki bi nalagal z Google Art Projecta. @Sporti: , na več načinov sem se mučil, da bi naložil katero od knjig (velikih PDFjev) z zapisniki, pa brez uspeha, čeprav sem sprobal v treh različnih posodobljenih brskalnikih. Opažam, da je čarovnik za nalaganje že toliko hroščast, da je praktično neuporaben, tudi za manjše datoteke. Osnovna stran za nalaganje mi ne pusti naložiti niti PDFja z dobrimi 400 MB, javlja mi napako "413 Request Entity Too Large", pa imam omogočene chunk uploads v nastavitvah. Zadnje upanje je bil skript https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Rillke/bigChunkedUpload.js , ki naj bi bil v pomoč prav pri nalaganju večjih datotek po delčkih; ko se mi datoteka naloži, pa mi aplikacija sporoči napako "FAILED: success" in to je to. Kaj ti si tudi že poskusil s tem Rillkejevim skriptom? kakšen je rezultat pri tebi? LP M★Zaplotnik ^(edits) 19:50, 12 July 2015 (UTC)

Poskušal sem le z Wizardom (naj bi delalo do 1 GB), bom še z Rillkejevim. Včasih je bil dober Commons:Up!, ampak na žalost se je zgubila koda. Commons:VicuñaUploader pa sploh ne odpre datoteke, da bi lahko poskusil naložiti. MMG si pogledal v Special:UploadStash (Troubleshooting: In case the last chunk was uploaded and you see an error, please go to your UploadStash and try publishing from there.). --Sporti (talk) 08:50, 13 July 2015 (UTC)

Nisem vedel, da ta funkcija obstaja. Odpre mi seznam 33 PDF datotek z generičnimi imeni, verjetno je med njimi tudi katera z zapisniki, vsaj dvakrat se mi je naložila v celoti. Našel sem novo orodje za nalaganje videov z youtuba ali drugje [9], pa še enega za urejanje videov na splošno [10]. --Sporti (talk) 14:04, 8 February 2016 (UTC)

Sporti, jaz za prenos posnetkov z YT uporabljam vtičnik YouTube Center v brskalniku Maxthon (obstaja tudi za Safari, Chrome, Opero, Firefox). Je namreč edina aplikacija, kar jih poznam, ki omogoča direktno shranjevanje videov z YT v format WebM. Za posnetke od drugod, ki obstajajo v drugih formatih, pa še vedno uporabljam Miro Video Converter, katerega uporabo so včasih priporočali na Zbirkini strani za pomoč pri pretvarjanju. Sem poskusil s par videi in tudi meni deluje brezhibno. Eno uporabnejših orodij zadnje čase. Morda se za implementacijo tega orodja skriva želja vodilnih pri Wikimediji, da bi se na Zbirki povečal delež videoposnetkov, ki so procentualno po krivici slabo zastopani. Je bil že čas. Ne verjamem, da je tole ravno visoko na želji vodilnih, drugače bi jih bilo malo več angažiranih na projektu, zdaj je bolj ali manj eden. Je pa priročno, da vse teče na njihovem strežniku, ker je lahko precej dolgotrajno in zahtevno za procesor in internetno povezavo. Sčasoma bodo verjetno še kaj dodelali, zdaj npr. ne moreš ustaviti postopka ali pa ponoviti, če ne uspe, včasih vrže tudi še kakšno drugo napako. Deluje pa dobro tudi, če je velikost čez 1GB, ko ti ustvari zahtevo za Server-side upload. --Sporti (talk) 17:53, 13 February 2016 (UTC)

Nekateri že naloženi videi niso v najvišji kvaliteti, video2commons pa ne omogoča nalaganja čez obstoječe, tako da sem nekatere naložil znova. --Sporti (talk) 14:01, 25 February 2016 (UTC)

Sporti, ja, sem opazil. Pri popolnih dvojnikih predlagam, da posnetke nižje kakovosti predlagaš za hitro brisanje. Npr. File:Po drugi seji vlade (HD).webm / File:Po drugi seji vlade.webm.

Samo nekateri "moji" posnetki imajo bogatejšo kategorizacijo (prim. File:Borut Ambrožič na kongresu "pozitivcev".webm in File:Ambrožič na kongresu pozitivcev.webm) in ponekod, kjer sem avtor jaz sam, morda tudi opis (gl. tale ogv z angleščim dodatkom proti webmju z enega mojih YT kanalov. Predlagam, da to pred izbrisom prekopirava na novo naložene posnekte. M★Zaplotnik ^(edits) 19:48, 27 February 2016 (UTC)

FPC??

Why did you move two closed FPs that were featured to the log? If you do that, the users will get no FP notification and the photos will not be added to the right galleries by the bot. Sporti, do januarja nameravam ročno pregledati videe, ki jim po novem ustreznost licence potrdi že bot. Fajlu File:4k Lake Bled Walking Tour ,Slovenia in Ultra.webm bi bilo dobro preventivno odstraniti glasbeno podlago, licenca je ok (zahvaljujoč wayback mašini). Archiving

Not sure why the Bot skipped processing this set (also 'ping' Eatcha about this) or why you archived it. When you do so, you must also do all the other tasks the Bot normally do. Archiving it to log is not enough. I have fixed the rest now: [16] [17] [18] [19] [20]. Wcarter I re-added that candidate to the list, the primary reason for failure was missing namespace prefix "File:". And other minor reasons like 1. I forgot to change the preloader for sets. Hallo MZaplotnik, ich habe gesehen, dass du hier erst gestern vorbei aktiv warst, deshalb wiederhole ich hier meine Frage, die die Kärnter Slowenin Mimi Malenšek betrifft, die es in der de-WP nicht gibt - Soll so sein ;-). In der slowenischen Wikipedia gibt es einen ausführlichen Artikel über sie, den ich leider mangels Sprachkenntnis nicht verstehe. Zusätzlcih gibt es noch einen Artikel in der slowenischen Wikisource unter https://sl.wikisource.org/wiki/Mimi_Malen%C5%A1ek - da versteh ich zwei Dinge nicht, da wir in der deutschsprachigen Wikisource nur Transkriptionen haben also nur Abschriften von freigegebenen Werken. Aber die zweite Frage ist zum Foto. Ist denn dieses Foto nicht unter einer freien Lizenz, dass es sich nicht auf Commons befindet? Vielleicht kannst du mir da weiterhelfen. Slovenia

Slovenia will quickly turn to orange state but hopefully we will not have another lock-down till winter. Masks are obligatory in public interiors and EU-covid certificate is requied almost everywhere -- even in some open air events. You can have a scanned copy on your phone and just show QR code, that is mostly enough. Another option is test, which is only valid 48/72 hrs and will not be free anymore. Hvala za konstruktivno kritiko. Pri Bizeljsko Castle 26 me moti neposrečeno vreme, saj je nebo čisto belo oziroma se zdi, kot da ga sploh ni. Moram enkrat trofit priliko na sončni dan pa pred brstenjem dreves, ko grad postane še bolj zakrit. To pot raje ne bom predlagal katere za izbrano. Tole še, če preveriš: File:Our Lady of Lourdes Basilica (Brestanica) 04.jpg. Cerkev je slikana iz edine lokacije, ki omogoča celovit, neokrnjen pogled na zgradbo. Ker pa je stranica s transeptom obrnjena proti severozahodu, jo sonce osvetli šele pozno popoldne, zato so drugi deli dnevi skorajda neprimerni za slikanje. Zimski čas sem izbral zaradi dejstva, da je kar se da minimalno zastrta z drevesnim listjem. --Janezdrilc (talk) 11:23, 21 March 2025 (UTC)

Pozdravljen, slika iz Brestanice ima v spodnjem delu za moj okus preostre sence (pričakovano za zgodnjo jutranjo uro nastanka fotografije), a glede na okoliščine, ki si jih opisal, to ne bi smela biti ovira za izglasovanje. Poleg tega se mi zdi nagnjena v levo (mogoče jo lahko zarotiraš?). Hvala za vse fotoprispevke iz lokalnih okolij, potrebovali bi več sodelavcev, kot si ti. Glede nagnjenosti v levo: jaz ponavadi nagnjenost preverim tako, da sliko karseda povečam, nato pa z drsnikom pomaknem sliko tako, da rob stene zgradbe približam robu ekrana. Ko tako približam navpični rob levega zvonika k levem robu ekrana, zvonik visi celo malenkost v desno. Sem pa danes naredil še tri posnetke z iste lokacije: 1, 2, 3. Njihova vsebinska šibka točka je morda živo rdeča streha Petrola pod cerkvijo. V tem smislu je prednost zimskega motiva (zgoraj) ta, da je ta streha čisto v senci in jo zlahka prezreš. Spotoma, hvala za kompliment. Vsaj v domačih krajih bi rad čimveč znamenitosti pokril, da lahko vsak dobi predstavo, kako kakšna stvar zgleda na terenu. --Janezdrilc (talk) 18:32, 29 April 2025 (UTC)

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the 2025 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year is the twentieth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favourite images featured on Commons during the last year (2025) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year are all entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

For your convenience, we have sorted the images into topical categories. Two rounds of voting will be held: In the first round, you may vote for as many images as you like. The top 30 overall and the top 5% of most popular images in each category will continue to the final. In the final round, you may vote for just five images to become the Picture of the Year.

Round 1 will end on 18 April 2026, 23:59:59 UTC.

Announcing the Winners of Picture of the Year 2025!

Hi everyone,

Wikimedia Commons is pleased to finally announce the winners of this year's Picture of the Year 2025 contest! We had some truly incredible finalists to choose from, but the community has spoken.

Here are your top three winning images:

• First place: The aftermath of an Israeli airstrike in Gaza City on October 9, 2023, leaving widespread destruction in the Rimal area.

• Second place: Baby cape fur seal (Arctocephalus pusillus) sleeping at Cape cross, Namibia.

I also want to highlight what an incredible turnout we had. In the second round, we saw a massive jump in both the number of users voting and the total votes cast. We had exactly 13,979 votes cast by 3,509 users! To put that in perspective, last year we had 7,403 votes from 2,837 users. It is amazing to see that level of growth and community engagement.

Thank you to everyone who voted, helped organize, and generally made the contest such a huge success this year!
