Information on temporary account IP viewer rights
editHello DaxServer,
On November 12, temporary accounts will be enabled on Commons. The IP of unregistered users will then be hidden for most users. You, as a patroller or license reviewer, are eligible to request the new temporary account IP viewer right, if you need it to continue fighting vandalism and abuse on Commons. If you want to request the right, please file the request here. Please be aware that you also have to accept the Wikimedia Access to Temporary Account IP Addresses Policy in your preferences. File:INaturalist observation-258031203 photo-462890764.jpeg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.
If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues. |

- Indeed! Incredible how large file sources can be.
- Would it be possible to add the time of the file to the file name after the date? This would allow the files to be sorted chronologically in the respective category automatically. The milliseconds may be included, depending on the accuracy of the respective camera model. I added some notes to the included screenshots :). The category Category:Photographs of Hof (Saale) from Mapillary (sns2ohxptom8vyyxf4z5mn) shows it, although the string style is not the best. Addendum: I assume, that adding properties like used camera model may be too complicated to implement. What do you think? Kind regards
