Artists Claiming Post

I’m happy to announce that we have 9 stories submitted for artists' claiming for this challenge! :D

These are only the stories where in the summary the writer had stated that they would like to have an artist creating art for them. There will be more stories in the end – because some writers preferred not having an art, they illustrate their own stories, or they just didn’t make the word count minimum before the deadline. I will make a separate post for such authors later.

Also if you are an artist, remember that you can claim ANY story – it doesn’t matter that it already have been claimed.
If you already work with an author/artist, please comment here with their user name, so I can include them later in the final list.

Artists can claim one or two stories in the first week of the claiming period. Please, tell us here which one you are claiming and if possible tell us why exactly this one. The authors will be delighted! :)

If there are any mistakes, please let me know and I will fix it.

Writers with no Artists

Some info for the writers who didn’t send the rough draft/didn’t want to have an artist – also those who had already dropped out:

If you still want to participate in the challenge, you will be able and encouraged to post your story to the comm in June/July, however you will just have to find an artist for you or have no artist at all.

I just would like to know how many writers who match the criteria listed above are still interested in posting their stories here. June 10th the posting begins. If you think you can finish your story by then, please comment here so I can more or less plan the schedule (and don't worry, you all will be able to choose a date between 10th of June and 10th of July for posting).

Rough Draft Submission


  • It’s a little more than a week until the rough drafts are due, so here is some info how we will proceed :)

  • Documents accepted: htm, doc, docx, odt, pdf, rtf, txt, google doc. If your story is in a different format you will have to tell me what software I can use to read it.

  • The email address you should send your drafts to is:

  • If it doesn’t work, please contact me via PM and I will provide alternated address.

  • Please put your username and the title of your story in the subject line.

  • If you already commented with your summary in the previous entry and there are no changes, you don’t have to include it in the email (however you are encouraged to), but if you didn’t comment or you changed your summary, please use this form when you are sending your draft (please don’t remove the HTML code, it will make my work easier):
