The Artistic Comic Lovers' Community

Hey all,
I'm a writer that writes lots of different stories from comics, mangas and novels.I've got lots of story ideas and I was hoping I could find some wonderful artists to create them into some real life comics.
My plan is either to put them on a site caleld capsulecomputers.com.au that I have some connections with and we would put the comic/manga in it's own section to advertise it to the thousands of viewers that come to the site. The other plan is make the comic great and al then send it out to every comic publisher we know:D

I've been working on a new animation... a music video for the band, 'The Joy Formidable' and their song, 'Popinjay'.

Hey everyone! I am so excited about this comic I've been doing lately and I wanted to share. It's set in post-apocalyptic NYC in the year 2003 and is called Angel. It's inspired by 70s and 80s action movies/comics. I was inspired by the feeling of being a kid and seeing these movies that are like "In the year 2010 when humanity has been decimated by...." and you're all "wow! 2010 is so far away!" But, you know, it's not. So it's like 75% tribute, 25% poking fun of these various tropes. It's totally meant to be ridiculous, know it's ridiculous, and still be ok with being ridiculous.

Anyway. So far, it's been a page a day, M-F on my website. I'm past page 50 now, so enough to give you a feeling and good run-in for the story if you start from the beginning. It'll keep being updated M-F until it's finished (I'm guessing 150+ pages total).

Behind the cut I have a story I'd like to turn into a graphic novel.

It's pretty original and I reckon it'd be an independant hit once released. I need a writer who'd be up for joining forces with me and penning out a decent few first chapters, etc.

Hoping to increase the readership for my LJ based comic darlingimdying.

I wouldn't say I've reached the point of making it an 'artform' yet, but there's been steady progress over the last five years, and if it continues that way, then perhaps I'll get there one day.

I'm very much motivated/encouraged by knowing somebody is reading it, so if anybody would be kind enough to add it to their LJ Friends lists, then I'd be extremely grateful.
