CrisisX

CrisisX is a third-person shooter and survival game that combines action, strategy, and zombies in a post-apocalyptic world where you must survive at all costs. To do this, you'll have to gather resources, destroy any undead that try to take you down, and do everything in your power to protect yourself from danger.

Gather resources to survive

The area you find yourself in will give you everything you need to stay alive, even if you don't know what to do at first. Collect wood from the trees, medicinal herbs from the fields, animals for food, and ultimately, anything you think might be useful to make it to the next day alive. You can store everything you find (to a certain limit) in your backpack, so you'll have to manage what you carry wisely and resist the urge to hoard everything. Always carry bandages and ammo with you, because you never know when you'll need them.

Equip yourself with all kinds of weapons

Another thing to think about in CrisisX is the arsenal of weapons you'll come across during your adventure. Your carrying capacity is limited, so you can only carry a pair of weapons at a time; be sure to make a good decision because a bad choice can get you into trouble. Some zombies can be killed easily with a knife, for example, but larger and stronger ones will need firearms to be taken down. You also shouldn't forget the bullets, which will be key to defending yourself against large waves of enemies.

My thoughts after testing CrisisX thoroughly

After trying out CrisisX for a good while, I can say that the experience was quite entertaining, especially due to the fast pace of the game and the constant feeling of having to be on alert... The zombies are everywhere. The performance, however, leaves a lot to be desired because it stutters constantly.

The best and worst parts of CrisisX

• What I liked most was the resource gathering; having to rely on them to survive, and not just on your aim.

• What I liked least is that the game isn't entirely smooth; your character responds late to some controls, which ends up being frustrating at times.
