The exclusive Guided Experience gives you full access to the history of the Colony of Avalon and the Ferryland area. Visitors will be welcomed with an introductory film about the site, go upstairs to the archaeology lab, tour the active archaeology dig site, and then enter the recreated 17th-century kitchen—all with a knowledgeable local guide.
For a more hands-on experience, the Archaeology Dig Programs allow you to get involved in unearthing artifacts on-site yourself, working alongside our crew as they dig, sift, identify, and record the remains of Baltimore’s colony.
