The Finance Department provides a number of key services, including:

The Finance Department is responsible for ensuring the City's long-term financial stability, integrity, and transparency. This includes overseeing daily payment operations and cash receipting.

The Finance Officer provides regular updates to City Council and Department Heads regarding City expenditures and revenues, monitoring for budget irregularities. They are also responsible for reporting on the City's overall financial condition and managing cash resources to maximize returns on the City's assets and funds.
