What we have here is a failure to communicate....

If I make a reasonable effort on my part to inform people of certain events (IE: put it on the calendar, put post it notes on their desk, email, call within a week of said event) it is NOT my fault if you don't understand that the day was 3 days ago, 3 weeks ago, or 3 years ago.
