Hello and welcome to my Blog, where you will find different content about Hockey, you’ll find some video analysis, exercises and articles where my main goal is to promote hockey and also bring more tools to other coaches that don’t have access to it.
Here you can find all the articles in my blog: click here
But first, let me introduce myself.
Alvaro is a roller hockey coach from Spain, he started playing hockey at the age of 7, but he has been involved in this sport since before he was born, his dad, Toni, also played roller hockey and he was also a roller hockey coach, and his grand dad created a roller hockey club back in his time, where Toni (Alvaro’s dad) started to skate and afterwards he started playing roller hockey.
Alvaro learnt a lot from his dad, as at home there was Hockey 24/7, at the age of 10 he started helping his dad teaching the youngster to skate, and at the age of 18 he started on his own, traching how to skate in a school of Barcelona and at 21 had his first team, at the same school where he started and where after two years, at the age of 23 he was the head coach of the hockey section.

He quit for a period of two years as he was focusing on other matters in his life, and since 2014, when his dad died, he has been coaching at his own club, the club that he, with his dad and sister, created in 2011.
Alvaro, with his dad and sister, strongly believe that hockey has a lot more to offer to the world, but we need to make it grow, and even thought there are several people who are working hard to make this happen, it’s still not enough, as those people are working in the same area, which makes hockey survive, but not grow.
That’s why Alvaro decided to start this blog, within his youtube channel, to give some useful tools to those people who are in countries where hockey it’s more or less residual, so they can hopefully make it grow in that area and then expand to other areas and therefor other countries.
