This post is for anyone be it performer or vendor who needs to get in touch with CMRFest management for any reason. I know there were several people who weren't able to get in touch with management last year and I DO NOT want that to happen to anyone again this year. While I am NOT a member of CMRFest management, I'm someting of the official web-wench and am able to get in touch with faire management to resolve information issues that vendors, performers and patrons might have. Let me know what information you need by responding in a comment to this post as well as a way I can get hold of you with a response.
Information to include: Your name, preferably telephone number since I sometimes don't get around to emailing for a couple of days and I've always got my cell phone on me, email address as a backup, and of course, your question.

For those that have asked me for information on when meetings are being held or where they can contact the faire management I have the latest news.
First off, the faire's OFFICIAL DATE is set for the weekend of AUGUST 18 & 19 at the Boone County Fairgrounds.
Second, there is a faire meeting to be held THIS WEEK at Peace Park in Columbia MO at 6 p.m. For those who were wanting to contact Jack or Shanna about last minute volunteering and/or vending and other areas of interest, they will be there to answer your questions.
It's been a hectic year for the faire this year due to circumstances out of managements control but we're going to make it and have a great time this year and the next will be even better!
Okay, this is Blue again, posting for the first time in forever. To the best of my knowledge, and going on the CMRFests website, and talking with Jack and Shanna, the faire is still set for this August, the 18 and 19th.
Faire meetings have been moved from the DracoSinister Blades Weapons Shop to Jack and Shanna's house due to a broken air conditioner in the shop which the landlord refuses to fix.
I've yet to sort out more details but will post them as soon as I know more.

Anyone out there know what the story is for the ren faire this year? I would like to go.....
We have a group coming on Sunday from St. Louis, and a couple of e-mails have been sent with no reply...
Anyone here know what the pet policy for CMRF is? We don't want to get there and not be able to get in because of the dog(s).

The next Ren Faire meeting is going to be this Saturday, April 8th at Dracosinister Blades at 5 p.m. For the regular members, we're getting ready for the Earth Day celebration so there will be costume rehearsal as well as character work. Come prepared!
For those who are new to CMRFest, come by and meet the staff and learn about other activities we've got planned for later in the year. Remember, Twilight Festival is fast approaching and we'll need volunteers for that as well.
