Random Ramblings from between the Post

Just thought you guys and gals would like to see Youppi....our beloved mascot.  Pic taken at the Bell Centre during the Red Wings game on September 30th 2008.

Picture of the new Scoreboard at the Bell Centre.  It was a good pre-season game between the Red Wings and the Habs.  The game went down the wire to a shootout.   The rookie, Max Pacioretty was the first star of the game with 1 goal and 1 goal in the shootout.  Saku Koivu did not dress because he has an injury.   Alexei Kovalev was pretty good.   2nd year goalie Carey Price was the second star of the game and made some game saving stops.

Very impressive scoreboard....it is crystal clear and probably cost millions.  Now if they can only spend a little on replacing those protective nettings above the rear boards.  I hate those black colored mesh.  They need it to be transparent instead.

Just got the new Gears of War Series 2 figures and they are cool.   However, the Marcus Fenix figure is exactly the same as the Series 1 figure except it is supposed to be more poseable.
