Tronjheim the city of dwarves

“You might as well take these back.” Arya said indicating binoculars.
Mellie took them in right hand. Then paused, looking over glossy black material. Left hand brought sandwich to mouth.
The elf continued. “Over the next few days we will each, in turn, head out to that army. Kill as many as we can. You will not be expected to take any risks. You need not endanger yourself.” Eyes still directed to the field of future battle.
Without subtlety dragon approached. Each step rattled loose stones. Dwarves and men rushed to clear way. With it rider strode. Confident, focused, fully aware of surroundings unlike his previous self. “We looketh forward to thine results. I hast gambled on over a thousand dead. Saphira thinks thou unable to surpass mere hundreds.”
Sylph turned to face dragon. “Hello Saphira. How are you? I am fine. My name is Mellie. I am pleased to meet you.”
“So small and timid a thing. Perhaps I should eat it? How many could it possibly kill? What more use could it be than as my dinner?” Blue dragon’s voice effeminate, cold, filled the air. Mocking tone failed to disguise those words.
Mellie tossed binoculars through a machicolation. “I am little more than air and glass. Hardly a proper meal.” To elf and rider she said. “Apologies, no. I will not murder for you. If you must, assume I have a score of zero in your game.”
“Truly thou art a strange creature. Whomst couldst resisteth the chance to prove one’s strength?” The rider laughed. “Alas, thou leaveth more for ourselves.”
“I see no hint of other riders. Perhaps we should fly now? Bathe men-in-camp in flame?”
“Dost we hath energy to spare for such a task? Twould be a worthy diversion.”
“If you need more, just eat them.” Mellie muttered.
“The girl has a point.” Arya said. “Go, your presence is not vital here.”
“Arlessa.” Elf called out. While rider mounted dragon. Movements blurred by speed. “I have more pressing concerns. Why don’t you arrange a tour of the city for our guest.”Dragon leaped clear. She marched off. Elven and human guards formed her wake. Mellie sipped tea.
“Well my guest. I’m sure you’ve travelled far. We can go through the city. Take the stairs back to the roost. By that point your rooms will be ready. You will have seen the city. And our dragon rider will have returned. I think he likes you.”
“Everyone likes me, I’m adorable. Please lead the way. You have all already given me so much of your valuable time. I hate to impose.”
“Perhaps we will simply take the short way back. There will be a feast in a few hours. If you are willing to wait. That may be the better time to see the city.”
