Spring is here - a time of birth, growth and new beginnings!

I'm very pleased to announce with the permission of the DVHQ Group, the launching of a new venture and venue for all those BDSM inclined. It's the baby of a very dear and good friend of mine Master John (and his crew), and promises to be something very special on the Midland BDSM scene.

    News

    Hope everyone who attended Scarlet last night had a fantastically naughty time ;) Just to bore the pants off you, can I again remind you how important it is to support your local events - there's no point moaning you have nowhere to go in the future when an event closes because of low numbers, if you never attended in the present!

    Other news (of which I'm quite excited!)...

    The Compulsion website is now back online!

    At the moment it's still under construction - I'm hoping the full site will go live within a week or two, a month at the longest. To be honest, the reason it's going to take this long is because I really want to have the galleries from all 9 events (the input of no less than 4 different photogrpahers) up for your viewing pleasure plus a forum/message-board so the site is as interactive as possible from the word go :) Many thanks to my wonderful and sexy web designing boyfriend for his hard work in advance!

    Scarlet

    Long time no update I know, but I thought I'd squeeze one in, in the light of several emails and texts I've received in the last few days regarding tonight's relaunch of Scarlet at Club HQ in Birmingham.

    In answer to the questions received, Scarlet and Compulsion are two very separate identities (Scarlet is a fun, fashion, fetish event - Compulsion is an event that aims to cater for everyone within the fetish and BDSM community) and as such, it's organisation has nothing to do with Compulsion whatsoever. We are not, as has been suggested in competition with each other, nor has it replaced Compulsion on the Birmingham Fetish/BDSM scene...if I had a sitter for my children tonight, I too would be making my way along to HQ to enjoy a night of fetish fun with the rest of the Compulsion team, and I'm pretty gutted that I'm having to miss it.

    I can honestly say it is fantastic to see Scarlet return to Birmingham...it was the first public fetish event I ever attended, and so upset was I when it stopped running from Birmingham, the city losing what was it's one and only club fetish event at the time, it motivated myself and other friends to start Compulsion...so without Scarlet, Compulsion would never have come into existence at all and it's fair to say that Compulsion has a lot to thank Scarlet for in that respect. I personally wish it every success with it's relaunch and hope it will go from strength to strength! On that note I'd just like to remind people just how important it is to support the local events that you like and enjoy. The clubbing industry is a cut throat industry, if a certain event isn't making enough the money for the club it runs from, the event gets dropped, it's that simple. Much of the responsibility for ensuring events keep running rests with people the event caters for...the promoters can work their rubber clad arses into the ground, put on the best DJ's, performances and such like, but there's only so much they can do. Don't put off for another time what you can do today...please support your local events, because if you don't use them, you lose them, and within communities like the fetish/BDSM community, that is a massive loss.

    As for Compulsion...still not dead ;p I hope to have news of the next event sometime at the end of the year.

    New Fetish Night

    I have details of a new fetish night running as a one off from Ceasars Night Club which you may be interesting in, 'Betties Page' ran by a familiar face to Compulsion, Frisky the Clown.
