I'm writing a fic and I'm trying to find out if there is a consensus concerning some werewolf lore: In Eclipse, Jacob says that Sam became a werewolf before Bella came to town and then he continues telling the story about how Leah got dumped for Emily. My question is, in the timeline, when did Sam imprint on Emily? Was it definitely before Bella came to town? Or is there a little wiggle room as to when it all happened?
So I've just entered exam season, so obviously I'm looking for procrastination, and I remember reading a Quil/Claire fic ages ago that I wanted to re-read.
I've looked in all the usual places but I can't remember what it's called or who wrote it, so I'm hoping someone can help me?
This is what I do know:
+ I'm pretty sure it was on ff.net - like 99% sure.
+ it was mutli chaptered & I think it was either complete or very close to it.
+ there was a scene that I remember vividly, where Claire is in her kitchek drinking milk or something at midnight & Quil comes in because he was patrolling? something like that.
+ There's also a big (snow?)storm in a later chapter and Claire & Quil sleep on her living room floor.
+ Everytime things get 'steamy' between them, Quil gets a headache or something because of an injunction Sam put on him.
+ Definitely rated M
+ I don't think there was any other plot, other than Q/C, but I could be wrong
+ I think at the end they get married? But again, that could be something else.
If anyone can help me, even a little, i would be so grateful, I know it's vague, but it's been bugging me for ages
