Theoretically I am re-learning math right now in order to take the GRE in a month, but actually, I am avoiding the whole subject. Now why did I sign up for it in July instead of later? When I'm moving and then going on vacation?

I hung out with sailing people last night after going on the water, and it's always very weird to do so, yet interesting, because they are so... normal. There was a whole conversation about what women expect in relationships and what men should do for them, and... what? I don't understand these normal straight person dating rules. Very different from being at con_txt over the weekend.

I haven't been reading LJ/DW hardly at all since with my new desk at work everyone in the world can see everything I do on my computer, and LJ/DW just.... look like social networking sites with lots of NWS icons and so on. And then I never feel like it on the weekends. But I do miss some people.

I think actually the summer is going pretty well, though. I just need to practice writing essays and make myself do math.
