i love being aromantic it's so oo o awesome to be painfully aware that no matter how much you love someone itll always be deemed less important in the eyes of most because its non romantic. it's really cool that the absolute maximum of care and love and attachment i can give is called 'just friends' and is considered inherently second best. im super fine and normal about this.

as a brand it feels very flaccid, it wants to play in the pool, it wants the techy sci-fi glamour, the edgy darkness and the cool explosions, but it's not interested in interrogating the concepts it plays with on any deeper, more human level beyond "isn't it fucked up when bad things happen to good people?" less a cohesive world than a playground where you can make things go boom. an unchallenging, mass-market product aimed at broad appeal. a shooty bang bang pow Gamer's Game. i like action movies as much as the next chick, but there's just not enough meat here for me to care much beyond that.
