Sharing Potato-Casserole’s gorgeous fan art of earlier this week got me to thinking how long it’s been since I posted any Tank Girl cosplay photos📸 I couldn’t actually remember off the top of my head, so I had a look and it’s more than 2 years❗ Too long methinks, as the character still is (and probably always will be), one of my faves. The problem is I’ve posted pretty much everything I have from my Tank Girl shoots. 💡The obvious solution is to do another shoot, but I’ll want to come up with a new outfit before I do that, so in the meantime, I thought a top ten might a nice idea. It’s a similar deal to my top 5 of 2025 post… I trawled though the Tank Girl posts across all my social platforms and figured out which were most popular📈 Then I got a whizz kid friend 💻 of mine to put them into a video and here it is… A lot of the entries were from my most recent shoot, but the winner was an older shot🏆, and that was far and away the most popular with over triple the likes of the runner up. I suppose it helped that it’s a pinned post on Tumblr and Instagram, but the fact it’s a booty shot maybe played a part as well. Shout out to Alana Jordan for the excellent music (HOW LITTLE YOU HAVE TO SAY) 👏💐 I totally wanted to use songs from the movie soundtrack, but y'all know how it is… pesky copyright and all that! Hey, hope y'all had a good weekend. Mine was quiet. I did some writing, some sewing, and on Sunday, the sun had got his hat on ☀️☀️, so I went for a walk in Hyde Park with my bae 💜💜💜. It was super nice… we had a picnic, saw ducklings at the boathouse 🥰 and looked at the Peter Pan Statue. It went to fast, though. Now it’s Monday again and I’m about to go off to work☹️, but before I do, I thought I’d share this Tank Girl pic. It’s another of my bunker shots, guest starring two big ole guns and a soft toy. I don’t have many of these left to post, but I’m going to pose for more real soon. I can hear the post-apocalyptic future calling and I 💜 it there too much not to answer. Okay, I’m declaring this cosplay Wednesday🦸‍♀️. It’s just an excuse to post another Tank Girl pic really, but if Hallmark want to make it a thing and pay me like a gazillion bucks💰💰💰 for the rights, I’ll totally go along with it. One of the things I 💜 about cosplay is that it lets you leave behind reality for a little while. You can go to the past, the future, an alternate version of the present or to a whole different world, and just forget about the wars, the hatred and the other crap that seem to be all around us these days 😔😔😭😭. Dressing up as a force of nature character like Tank Girl also reminds me that as she herself has said…

Welcome back to my bunker in the post-apocalyptic future, where I’m cosplaying Tank Girl again👋. As you can see, my accessories here include my trusty rocket launcher, which is definitely my weapon of choice💥💥💥. I realize my hair looks like it hasn’t seen a brush in like three weeks, but other than that, I don’t think it’s a bad shot. Me cosplaying Tank Girl again 🪖. In the last shot I posted, I was doing meek and mild. Here, not so much. As the character herself would say, I’m a girl with a big gun and a bigger attitude. This pic has a couple of guest stars… Flapjack, the little 🧸 hanging from my helmet, and Pink, who is peeking out from behind the rocket launcher. After talking a bunch about my new Tank Girl helmet, I thought I’d post another pic of me modelling it (and not much else). You can’t see many of the details, but it does highlight one of the drawbacks, which is that the excess weight at the back keeps trying to pull it off. I also have a bad case of hat hair in this shot 🙄. Other than that, I think it’s pretty good… Christabel does military chic  💋💣. As you can see I’m in the post-apocalyptic bunker again with my big guns ready at hand 🔫. Don’t be fooled by my relaxed pose… I’m ready to spring into action at the slightest sign of trouble.
