(no subject)

I don't know about you, but I'm about ready to call it an early night. Beat B in miniature air hockey and chess, but lost in a game of Rummy 100 (a shortened version of the regular game). Work sucked today. Hopefully the week can only improve!

All that's left is the seemingly-obligatory "nobody cares, but I'll post it, anyway" list of what I've listened to, today: Live in Charleston, This Providence, Soundtrack to Your Life, The Woman in Me, Coverage, Chariot Stripped, Early Days: The Best of Led Zeppelin Volume One, Bringing Down the Horse, Sampler, From the Carpet, Everything You Want, (Breach), Unconditional (promotional single), and about 80 other (random) songs.

Wasted weekend.

I haven't posted in a few days. I haven't done much of anything, though. That shouldn't surprise anyone. Shawna and I watched Hellraiser: Hellseeker and I've listened to a lot of music: Almost Here, Saturate, Migrations, From the Carpet, This Providence, For All of This, Bringing Down the Horse, Home, The Summer Tic EP, Sleepaway, Chariot Stripped, I Am for You, Happy2bHardcore Chapter Six: The Final Chapter, Chariot, Casting Crowns, Coverage, Commit This to Memory (deluxe edition), The Slim Shady LP, and about 285 other (random) songs.

That's about all that I've accomplished, all weekend. Pathetic?

I really have nothing to say.

Today was a pretty laid-back day. Bowling wasn't the greatest. I hit 330, but that was only because I had a really good last game.

I'm getting impatient waiting to hear some kind of news in regards to Chop Chop. Wikipedia claims that it'll be released by Atlantic Records, so I guess it's only a matter of time before they're huge. Apply all of that to Paramore's sophomore album, as well. Note that, in Paramore's case, it's still only an unconfirmed rumor that they've been bought by Atlantic. Whatever.

A Collection came in the mail, today. I can't wait to put it on the nano. Well, the three non-album tracks, anyways.

I can't think of anything else to mention.

Today, I listened to: Fold Your Hand, How to Save a Life, Seasons, New Way to Be Human, and about 160 other (random) songs.

Good night.

Benadryl put me to sleep.

You probably didn't notice, but I didn't make an entry last night. I fell asleep on the couch around 8:00 last night, which is right where I woke up at 6:30, this morning. My allergies were absolutely horrid yesterday. Probably the worst that they've ever been. I took two Benadryl as soon as I got home yesterday. Needless to say, that shit knocked me the fuck out.

Yesterday, I listened to: The Story and the Song, All We Know Is Falling, The Pre-Release EP, Anything Else But the Truth, The Academy, A Place in the Sun, and about a hundred other (random) songs.

Looking at my paycheck this morning, I see that I have 200 hours of vacation time (over $1500) saved up. Nice!

First day of work this year.

Not too much to report today. Nothing interesting happened. I did forget to mention in last night's entry that I bought one of those wall adapters for iPods. My plan is to bring my external hard drive to work on the days that Kelly drives, and just listen to my iPod at work on the days that I drive. I'll bring the adapter on the days where I'm going to be listening to my iPod at work, in case the battery starts to run low.

Ate at Ninety-Nine tonight. Beth and I played pool afterwards, at Mt. Greylock Bowl. Tonight was a fun night.

Today, I listened to: Statement, I Am for You, All We Know Is Falling, and about two hundred other (random) songs.

Just like 2006 ended, 2007 begins...

I finally got to see Seth Adam do his own show, on Saturday night. He covered Will Hoge's song "Better Off Now (That You're Gone)". I thought it was awesome that he covered Will, but, to be honest, I fully expected him to do so. You can listen to his performance, right here (on YouTube), if you're interested! Seth's set was acoustic, so the song sounds nothing like Will's version. To me, it sounds a lot like Great Big Sea, who I recommend checking out (if you're not familiar with their work).

I'm very excited to be seeing Jack's Mannequin, again, on February 21, 2007. Head Automatica, theAUDITION, and We Are the Fury will be opening the show. I'm less (but still, also) excited to be seeing Sevendust, again, on February 24, 2007. Their openers will be (much less exciting) bloodsimple and Diecast.

I finally got to see Cars, as well, last night. I was not greatly impressed. This film was more on the level of Finding Nemo, when I was hoping for another The Incredibles.

I had to get a new keyboard today. My old one, that I bought for four dollars at Target, randomly died sometime between last night and early this afternoon.

Today, I listened to: Catalyst, Sevendust, Wave of Mutilation: Best of Pixies, and about fifty other (random) songs.

The end of the road.

There are no words to express the heartbreak and anger I am feeling.  I've been broadsided by life's tractor-trailer truck.  I just wish my airbag hadn't gone off and I'd have died.
