I don't add random strangers anymore. This journal has become quite a chunk of my life and if we don't know each other from elsewhere, may it be RL or the 'net, chances are quite low I'll add you back. Sorry!

Closing the doors

LJ has served its purpose as social network for me. I will not leave it for good but my active days are most definitely over.

What it is now is an archive and a place I return to once in a while to post recaps so that I will have something to look back on later and read what you have been up to.

Those recaps are of a very personal nature and there won't be anything else in here. So I did a big clear out and kept only people who I know in real life and the folks I followed on LJ or elsewhere online over so many years that it's basically nearly the same.

If you need an LJ friend who does more than pop in once in a while and leave comments on probably outdated posts I understand - feel free to delete me here. I am still reading everything you post, just not immediately as you post it. If you are fine with that, I am happy to stay on your list.

Everyone else I wish only the best and if you want to reconnect elsewhere, just leave me a note. Fortunately I found most of you already in other places :)

I cleaned a little up and removed abandoned journals and communities from my friendslist. If you have been removed and are a silent reader, just yell and I'll put you back on.

I'm in a springcleaning mood this week, although it's not even yet spring. I cleaned up a lot of stuff in the flat, I cleaned up my mailbox, I tried to straighten and sort out a lot of things and now it's time for the friendslist.

Please don't be offended. My journal grows more and more to something quite personal instead sharing random stuff and thoughts with random people, like it used to be. And I just don't feel that connection to everyone anymore.  We'll read each other elsewhere.
