I'm soooo glad I was able to take today off so I could recover. I did more screaming at that game than I have all season. Sure we still have lots of room to improve but I gotta say that I'm so thrilled that the Chiefs kept the winning streak alive. Plus, it's also pretty sweet when a trash talker like Rivers makes a fumble at such a critical time. Did anyone else hear the fireworks they are talikng about? My seats are almost as high up as you can get. I was so intent on watching the play that I didn't hear them. I wonder if Rivers did? I heard another fan say that they went off right before the snap and that it looked like it spooked him. It was a great night to be a Chiefs fan at Arrowhead!!
I still give Herm Edwards the benefit of the doubt, because while he is not an x's and o's guy, he is the ultimate motivator, and no matter how bad his teams look, they always play hard for him. Still, if the team cannot turn their recent fortunes into wins, and they close out 1-15 or 2-14, he could still go. My question is, if Herm Edwards does get fired at the end of the season, who is the one person you would want to replace him. Try to be reasonable, and not pick coaches who are not going anywhere, like Beeel Beeelichek.
My vote? Steve Spagnuolo of the New York Giants. He is the coach as far as I'm concerned, and I don't see him as the next Marvin Lewis
Oh my, Allen was one of my favorite players! I can't believe he's not going to be and red in anymore. But...i think we got a lot for him. 17th first round pick, 2 3rd rounders and swap of 6th rounder. 13 picks in the draft this season, we are really starting fresh and better get some good darn players!!
We better have a very good draft this year because im getting tired of watching other teams make all kinds of moves and we're sitting back doing nothing...
