Just in case anyone still reads me here that isn't also a Facebook friend: I got accepted at NYU. Assuming they don't have an issue with the fact that Westminster is screwing me and I won't have my second Bachelor's by summer, I will be starting their Master of Music Technology program in the fall!

As if there weren't enough memorable Philly sports moments this year, the Eagles just Metsed the Cowboys in spectacular fashion. This was the type of loss in a must-win game that kills a team for years (Exhibit A, Seahaws 42 - Eagles 0 on MNF).
The best thing about being an artist is that you never go to bed wishing you were an energy trader. Energy traders, however, do lie awake some nights wishing they had never given up the piano.

It was such a nice day today, I figured I'd make something of it and learn a new skill. So, I tried to teach myself skateboarding. Quoth the missing skin on my right elbow and heels of both palms:
I am suuuuuper f'ing psyched. Today, I made a talkbox prototype out of PVC connectors and vinyl tube. I didn't use a horn driver, which the real ones use, but ganked a midrange woofer from an old set of PC speakers, and the thing pretty much works. I haven't caulked the pieces all together yet, but I think it'll sound pretty good once I get the enclosure air-tight.
I'm thinking of taking pictures and posting them, but I'm not sure anyone else cares. But ooooh boy, I am jazzed to cook up some uses for this thing.
Finally have a working vocoder in Ableton Live!! Aside from a small issue that blasts the speakers with white noise after about half an hour of inactivity, I am now cooking with gas.
