happy friday the 13th! have a gift!
somehow this post is longer than my previous two in the series, even though i saw the other two with my own eyes and this one had to be pointed out to me. huh. i really did start to see how toma and teppei look alike once i got into this, though. it was pretty amazing.
srsly toma's eyebrows used to be EPIC.
toma on the left, teppei on the right. i found a TON of teppei photos where he was smiling like a huge dork, which is completely my impression of toma. when i started looking for toma pictures to match, i found out that most of toma's magazine pictures have him wearing his SRS BSNS face. it was hard to find smiley pics without just capping every scene of hana kimi.
sad dudes making sad faces. eyebrows, hair, nose. not to be confused with eyebrows and nose hair.
young (and even young-ish) toma is not attractive to me in the least. this is as young as toma can get without me feeling a bit grossed out. in other news, GODDAMN TEPPEI YOU ARE PRECIOUS.
well, you can't go through a toma picspam without at least one hana kimi photo. elation! smiles! spikey bleached hair!

toma is somehow trying to make that sammich sexy. teppei, on the other hand, is completely getting the "omg this is so good" vibe across to me. i am so hungry.

faces are not everything! they also have gone through HORRIBLE HAIR STAGES. there was also a time when they both had tiny blond streaks in their fringe, though all of the toma photos of that time were sort of small. so have another bad haircut! toma's chunk of outgrown orange and teppei's... pink streaks? wtf.
dawwwwww it melts your heart, doesn't it? they actually look quite similar asleep.

i really wanted to find a toma photo that matched the teppei photo more closely, but to no avail. it just has the feel of a toma candid, i think. tiny-toma strangling the poodle is pretty cute, though.

while i was looking up toma photos, i came across some old photos of m.a.i.n, and we all know what that means, right? awful photos of toma with half of arashi.
FOCUS ON JUN. nino just looks like a dude dressed in a bonnet, aiba and toma actually sort of look like babies, but JUN IS MARLYS. there's no other explanation for it - matsumoto jun is the secret inspiration for lynda barry's marlys character. all he needs is a pair of thick glasses. oh. wait.
and a little side note: alyssa knows a very small amount of information about any je artists, but she knows the most about kat-tun. i showed alyssa this photo and she brought her knowledge of kat-tun (and subsequently, her knowledge of the "fat jin" nickname) full circle:
