My friend Roger took me there on a visit to Berkeley!! I had the best time. Still trying to keep my Berkeley vibe going...

don't forget that cheeseboard pizza is open until 8pm for the summer. huzzah!

An update on yesterday's extended hours -- I believe they are for summer only.

my life would be easier if cheeseboard and arizmendi oakland posted their pizza schedule online, similar to their counterparts in other cities. (1, 2)

no such luck for you or i. today's pizza at arizmendi oakland was spinach, olives, red onions, and feta (with mozzarella and parsley parmesan and olive oil, as usual). it was my intent to go to cb for lunch, but alas, they close at 2pm.

well, ok, i didn't go to cheeseboard. i did have a slice of pizza at arizmendi in oakland.

today's pizza: chard, red bell peppers, red onions, feta and mozzarella, lemon juice, garlic olive oil, parsley and parmesan.

for dessert: ginger shortbread. mmm gluttony.

i also left with 2 loaves of suburban batard, the leftovers of which will be used to make stuffing. oh yes.

fresh zucchini, onions, sun-dried tomatoes, feta chevre, mozzarella, and parsley.

and half a pumpkin scone for dessert.
oof.
