Charming Fans

I truely think that the series finale for Charmed will go down in history for me as one of my favorites.

The WB showed the finale at 8pm and I swear it doesn't matter how many times that I watch that episode the final montague make me cry every time. It's so sweet and so sad and it's finally starting to kick in for me that we aren't going to have any new episodes this year.

After the show was a part of my life for 8 years and I looked foward to new episodes every week and it's one of the only shows I ever watched religously from beginning to end... it's hard to get used to the idea that it's over.

**ambles off to feel a bit sad**

Damn, I almost cried making this recap, I still cant watch it without blubbing. It was the best way to end this show, and I'm so grateful to Kern et al, for giving us this ending, it was the best 'Thanks For watching' I've ever seen.

It's over. Eight years, and we've said good-bye tonight. From the moment the Halliwell sisters found out they were witches to Piper and Leo's romance to Prue's death to Paige's entrance and all the way up to my Halliwell boys, it's been a wonderful and fun ride.

But even though the lights are out on the set and everyone's gone home, I still have a lot of fic to write. I have 93 more crossovers to write, 91 more AUs to write, and two novellas to finish -- A Kind of Magic and Pieces of She. I'm still a Charmed fan and I still want to read the fic. Who's with me?

But for now we say good-bye to a fun TV show, even if it was cheezy at times. It's like saying good-bye to an old friend. The Halliwells, I'll miss you.

I haven't bawled so much in a very long while...

I just finished the Charmed finale a few minutes ago and I thought it was a very gratifying end and I think it will rank up there with favorite episodes of all time.

I laughed. I cried. I felt the rollarcoaster up and down. I was VERY impressed and saddened because it won't be back next season. I feel more inclined than ever to pull for a spin-off w/ the next generation.

So who else is still in denial that tomorrow night is the series finale? I am going to be a blubbering mess throughout the whole episode.
