charlottechillHaving just lost my long and excited post about the con, I'll be brief (for a moment).
I loved seeing friends of decades. I loved making new friends who attended the con for the first time this year. I loved seeing the range of ages, interests, identities, and energies (excited newer fans who cared nothing about sleep, older fans who slipped off at 9pm, still others who loved settling around a good vid show). I had a wonderful time and, despite some issues the hotel couldn't control (but which their staff worked diligently to help mitigate), this was one of my favorite Escapades.
I look forward to meetups on the discord server, and implementing some great new ideas people offered up, and enlisting new support to help spread the labor and effort that goes into creating the convention.
I appreciate the countless ours that many people put in, but must make special callout to Nev, Megan, and the people who create such a smooth and warm experience on Discord. And or course all of the con team without whom this hard work would in fact be impossible.
