Nor Cal Chatter

I was born in Oklahoma City but grew up in Southern California where I lived until my freshman year of high school. My mom and I moved back to Oklahoma that year. I graduated from high school in '99 and moved to San Francisco in 2001 when Kevin and I married.

I studied philosophy and religion in college, so I'm somewhat of a pensive person. I like to ponder big questions though, with our baby boy due in January, I'm finding pregnancy has consumed my thoughts! This is our first child. If I hadn't majored in philosophy, I would have studied geology or astronomy.

I love to write. I have a blog, a website and am new to LiveJournal as of August '07.

I have one black cat named Charlie. She's been my cat since I was about 12 years old and is among my valued friends.

Both times I have taken it, I'm classified as an INFP by Myers-Briggs. Here's glimpse of the general INFP profile: "INFPs are quiet, creative , sensitive and perceptive souls who often strike others as shy, reserved and cool. These folks have a rare capacity for deep caring and commitment--both to the people and causes they idealize. INFPs guide their behavior by a strong inner sense of values, rather than by conventional logic and reason.
