BOGGART: A cage. Which she has countered by turning it into one made of candy. It's not particularly funny but it amused her.
PATRONUS: Nothing corporeal, as of yet, but she's working on it.

FAMILY: Charity is the only daughter of Potency Burbage and Victoria Shadwell. Her father, the town reverend, was a loving man whose virtues had been passed down since the establishment of the Burbage family in 1692. This would be the reason why The Burbage children were all named after values.

Temperance, Patience, Courage and Charity. In her opinion, she got the best deal. She was never really close with her two eldest brothers, T and Pat, mainly because the age difference made it difficult to talk to them because it felt like all her troubles were so petty and childish. They are generally very sweet to her though, because she is the only girl in the family and they tend to coddle her, much like her father does.

Her mother is a doe; this is the first thing that Charity will tell you about her. Victoria Burbage is one of the most gentle women you will ever meet. She is Charity's ally; the one person she can count on to be on her side against everything. Her father is an authoritarian and keeps the house under a tight fist but he is a doting father under all of the discipline and tends to spoil Charity to pieces.

Her twin brother though, is her best friend in the entire world. And though he could be an absolute dick sometimes, she loved him more than absolutely anything. Courage was younger than Charity by exactly five minutes but he was fiercely protective of his sister, and has been known to punch random blokes for staring at her chest and is the reason why his siter calls him Rage.

BIOGRAPHY: Charity grew up in a small town whose only form of excitement was the annual ballroom dancing competition. She has always been a sprightly child, bursting with life and energy and could often be caught in the fields behind her house, playing pretend with Rage and trying to catch butterflies with a transparent plastic bowl she borrowed from her mother.

She is very spoiled, as the only girl in a family of boys is often wont to be, but she is completely ready to get down and dirty. When she was three, she and Rage would hide under the bed and stuff their fists into their mouths, little fingers trying to stifle the giggles that threatened to reveal them as their mother, father and brothers frantically searched the house for them.

Up until their eleventh birthday, Char and Rage shared everything. Rage was the only one who knew about the strange things that always happened around Char. They were twins and it only seemed the natural order that if one had a cupcake, the other had to have some too. That is, until the day the letter arrived, and Char knew that there was now something she couldn't share with Rage no matter how much she wanted to.

They were having cake and ice cream, because neither of the twins wanted a party with many people who always looked out of place whenever they saw Mr. Burbage, and ice cream and cake seemed to be a good a celebration as any for the day the twins transferred rooms. T had been in the process of opening a 2 liter bottle of soda when a tap came from the window and the family turned around to see a grey owl, sitting on the windowsill.

All hell broke loose from there, when the family finally found out about Char's powers. For a family that was so entrenched in religion, this was a hard blow. The Bible said that 'thou will not suffer a witch to live', but did that apply when it was your little girl? Potency Burbage had never faced a more difficult question.

In the end, it was Courage who solved everyone's fears, including his sister's. He had gotten tired of the silence and the tears and the constant shifting around Char like she was a person with leprosy, and climbed onto the table, letting off a party popper and glaring at his family. He convinced his father to let Char go to Hogwarts and that Char was doing absolutely nothing to warrant punishment.

PERSONALITY: Charity is a very cheerful person. Her wand is made of unicorns and butterflies for a reason. She is generally very sweet to people she likes, and is willing to offer a helping hand to anyone who asks. However, she can be very stubborn and pig-headed when she doesn't get her way, and since she grew up a spoiled little princess, this means that she is so used to getting her way that the stubbornness seems one of her more prominent qualities. She is also a very big Daddy's girl; she loves her mother of course, but her father's approval has always been the one that she strove for the most in the household. She adheres to the rules and for the most part, she doesn't approve of mischief and thus can be seen by quite a few as a prude. She is passionate about her beliefs though and she's willing to fight for them which, being a muggleborn, means that she doesn't stand for crap like 'mudblood' and all that other rot.

APPEARANCE: Tall, thin thing. Standing at 5'9, with long, chocolate brown hair. Striking features.
