Original Character Fiction

Do You Like To Write? Like to write? Love to write Original Fiction? Great! There is a new challenge, called originalfic_las, where you write a story of at least 100 words every two weeks based on a different prompt. Then they get voted on and the person with the least votes is out that week and the person with the most is safe next week. Till you have one author standing who wins! You don't even need to be a GREAT writer! ... who will come out on top?

A/N: This is a semi true fic. I do have CP, but this never happened though it is based loosely on true events. I own nothing but the words that lie herein. The title is a Pat Benatar song, the song within this fic is Feelin' Good. I hold no ownership of Adam Lambert and mean no harm. Please feel free to comment and critique if you like, but be nice. I'm sooo glad I found this community. I like vamps and have a few original stories, but so far i haven't had anywhere I could find to properly post them.

Disclamer: I own the concept and the characters. There are three characters who are based on three comic book characters if your smart you already know who the first two are. I dont own those but I am using them a bit O.C.C.

 Hey all. I'm not sure if I've mentioned this already but I've recently started my first conlang (constructed language) which is intended to be spoken by prehistoric dwarves. At the moment the language is currently based on various natralistic languages such as English, German, and Finnish with some borrowings from specific conlangs such as Klingon. The grammar is still in-complete but that is only because the conlang is still in it's early stages of it's development. The reason why I'm posting this here is because I was wondering if you knew of any sites that provided detailed information on Khuzdul -the dwarvish language in LOtR. I've tried a few searches through google but whilst I can find plenty of information abot the dwarvish culture I've yet to find much on their language. Even just some books on the subject would be useful. I would also like some information on any other dwarvish languages from books etc that you know of; and if possible, languages that you think might provide a basis of inspiration.

I'm sorry, I realize this one also contains material that might require some explanation. This one, though, I am SURE I can blabber about all I want, if anyone is entirely interested. This is based after a Kingdom Hearts-set RP that a few friends and I have held over the past... oh... two or three years.

And... a warning for a little bit of language. It's not intense, but if you've ever been in the hallways of a modern high school you'd be familiar with it.

I'm hoping I'm correct in assuming that this comm isn't simply for posting about characters who are created for a preexisting fandom, but also for those in a world created by the character's author. So... I'll try posting this here. To... well, anyone, I don't expect this to make a lot of sense. Some of it might, but just try not to think too terribly hard about it or else you'll just mess everything up. It all has an explanation and once I pass it by my friends that I'm not sworn to secrecy about these explanations, I'd be willing to explain them to anyone who would like to hear about it.


Also, both characters in this are very much belonging to myself and luna_kitsu_blu, so we would be very appreciative if no one stole/borrowed/kidnapped them. Thank you!

I'm having trouble relating to my character. Do you guys happen to know any movies with a character similar to the one I'm about to describe? That might help me out a bit and I would really appreciate it.

My character is apologetic, sniveling, listens to all orders given to him yet secretly longs to be the boss he listens to, scared to try out new things, and self-conscious. But at the same time he's sympathetic and tries to help others out, but gets bossed around too much. He has good ideas but no one listens.

Any help here?

So people have been saying that I need to make my writing a bit more realistic. And I was wondering if you nice people could help me out here?

So here's the thing. Right now, in my story, these 2 brothers who are pickpockets get caught stealing and are getting chased by the cops. But while on the chase, they gotta stumble upon this one chick, who they gotta take home and deal with later. In my story right now, they just stumble upon her in the middle of the road, beaten and unconscious, which is unrealistic.

I was wondering if any of you guys had some creative minds out there and were willing to help me out into some different possibilities as to how the brothers bump into her? Help is greatly appreciated. :)
