I'm HERE (but not here...)

OK, so I posted this yesterday, but since I apparently had it locked, it couldnt' be viewed unless you logged in so I'm not sure if you saw it...Yeah I'm an idiot...

Hey kids! Well I am finally up to speed with this journally thingy...I haven't been in the loop since I've been prostituting myself around ancient Sicily a little too much lately...so I should get to bed, but I wanted to let you know that I realize that the journal is HERE, since my brain is currently THERE somewhere...Oh and I like the girly weekend idea... :) I was also thinking maybe something we could do in the wintertime, like a little mountain getaway in the style of "Smellycat Ski Weekends" minus the parental supervision? Just a thought...know it might be hard to do, I was thinking around the holidays...but maybe closer to the wedding is better? Hmm...yeah...got some ideas from Steph about the planner so I'm going to figure all that jazz out...Ok, I'm sleepy and have to be a whore again tomorrow so I'm piecing out....
Buh bye!

bye the way...i like how you can add your "mood" to your post...hehehe...

WARNING: THE FOLLOWING LINK IS NOT SAFE FOR WORK (heretofore know as NSFW)

Not uploading the picture because I don't want anyone to be embarassed if they're reading this in a public place ("um, why is there erotic baked goods on your screen?")...

Presenting the chocolate cock cake pan!!  We can either buy this pan, or fashion our own cock cake using a loaf pan and cupcakes.  I'm not quite sure what we'll use for a creamy filling, pudding perhaps?  Maybe custard or if all else fails we can use whipped cream.  If we want to do a mini version, William Sonoma sells a DIY twinkie pan (it would be like an erotic version of Oprah's car show: "You're getting a cock.  YOU'RE getting a cock.  Everyone's getting a cock!!").  Chocolate Fantasies is another good website for bachelorette party goodies (again, NSFW).

Ok signing off, because my mother is sitting less than 10 feet away from me and I feel weird writing about this stuff with her right here!

How about this for a bridesmaid dress?

Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us

click on the photo to enlarge.

How hideous it that?!? Ok, really this is just to teach everyone how to use imageshack to host photos. The website is www.imageshack.us and you can use my email if you want to log in (lisamedici @ gmail dot com, I broke it up so the spambots don't get it), but logging in is optional. Save the photo to your computer, go to imageshack, click on the frog, click browse to find the file you're looking for and click "host it." It will pull up a list of options, just highlight the box you want, copy, cut, and paste it into your journal entry. I know this sounds like a pain in the ass, but many photo sites and websites do not allow hotlinking (linking directly from their website to ours), so imageshack is a great way to share photos with the rest of the group. Plus, it's free. Can't beat free! Ok, hopefully this worked or else I'll look like a dumbass for trying to explain a photosharing site that I can't master. Testing 1 2 3, is this thing on?

Your mom says hi

Yo yo yo, what's shakin kids? I'm just trying to humor lisa and see if this thing works out. I don't have a clue what to do for a wedding so this is a much needed outlet...we all need to compile our brillant minds and thoughts and come up with fantabulous parties for Amy!

testing 1,2,3...

Just seeing if this works... Basically, this is an online community. More permenant than email, more user friendly than message boards, much less of a PITA than a webpage. Maybe we can use this to plan things like Amy's bridal shower/bachelorette party (CHOCOLATE CAHKE!!), bitch about ugly bridesmaid dresses, etc. Ok, that's my story. Lisa, OUT!
