See one funny thing about TianMing is that it’s very much possible that nobody’s gonna know about them for at least a couple months. Ming Fan just forgets to tell anyone because he rarely talks to people outside of work and after a while he kind of forgets people don’t know yet. Tianlang-jun needs like at least a month to process that he’s still capable of falling for someone and is in fact dating again, and while he’d absolutely scream it from the rooftops after the while is over, he’s still testing Ming Fan’s boundaries by now and they just. Don’t say anything. This goes on for the at least a couple months, maybe even a year, until one of them is sighted princess-carrying the other around Qing Jing and some shy little disciple is pushed forward by the rest to act out the “watcha got there?” “A smoothie” script. Ming Fan is genuinely so confused he thought they knew (some people had suspicions but everyone just thought Tlj was out of his league 😭)

None of them knew because he never called them by those names until some point when Lloyd was running through the city away from something, knocked over the mailman's bike and he called him Greg while scolding him
