Still, though you may be what today is called “high maintenance” and in the past was called “bat-shit crazy,” the crew likes to have you around because in a pinch your maniacal combat prowess may be the only thing that saves them from Jack Ketch. When not in a pinch, the rest of the crew will goad you into berserker mode because it’s just kind of fun to watch. So you provide a double service – doling out discipline AND entertainment.

Batina and I had been waiting for the darn Christmas trees to go on sale and as of yet they have not. So, we've decided to have our holiday party anyway this Sunday evening at 7 PM EST. Bring gifts if you want, but they aren't required. We'll be sure to have some tournies and other fun :)

I've gotta sail down to Labrynth Moors on Sunday afternoon so we might as well pillage and have fun along the way.

I'm gonna shoot to leave Lima between 3 and 4 PM. It's a long trip (took me 3 hrs to solo from LM to Lima) so plenty of time to join if you miss the beginning.

Crown of Thorn is looking to take over Swampfen Island and is looking for jobbers to help out. I've know Thorn for quite a while and he's a decent guy so I told him we'd help the best we could. If you are around on Saturday, November 4th at 3 PM EST you can contact Wetnwild or Schaef for jobbing invites.

So, the server was running last night. I'm guessing either it crashed or it's not on all the time.

I'll talk to the admin and find out.

I figured out Teamspeak last night so here are directions on how to join in the fun.

1. First download the TeamSpeak Client here
2. Install that client
3. Start the client
4. Click on Connect and enter the following data
Label: Servants of the Chain
Server Address: 72.204.128.144:7028
Nickname: Your pirate's name
Server Password: booty

That should be it!

To register your name once you are logged on click on the Self pull down and register (it's near the bottom)

Fear not, even with Jezebella choosing to find a new home, the weekly tourneys and pillages will still be on, although I'll probably move them to biweekly, if that's more convenient for everyone.

Post here if you have a day / time that you'd prefer over Friday evenings.

 Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you all know I've left the flag. I had a ton of fun with you all while I was here, and still think you're a great bunch. So many emotions are coming at me through this, but I think it will be for the best, especially now that I'm going to be an upright employed tax paying citizen, and won't have as much time for the game. I'll still be here on LJ and around in the game when I've got time (I don't start work till Tuesday). Whoever wants this community, I will gladly make them the moderator. Thanks to everyone who showed up at the weekly pillages and tournaments, they were a ton of fun. I wish you all the most fun and the best of luck in the game, and don't be a stranger!
