weird pattern I'm noticing among some of the twerfy transmascs on here where they fixate on what their pasts were like and what they assume transfems' pasts were like. like even when they've gained privilege via transition to manhood they're like "well this happened to me before that and it probably doesn't happen to pre-transition trans women so really they are my oppressors"
like man even if that's the case, what about right now? what about right now when you've both, you know, transitioned? has that not changed anything?
like some of these men are self-reportedly cis-passing and they seem to think they really don't have privilege over even a clocky trans woman. like, brother. get serious
I saw one of these dudes mention having become sterile via surgery and I can't help but think like... yeah? a cis-passing man who can't carry children is telling women who can't carry children that we don't face reproductive oppression like he does? do we think sterile women are privileged on this axis...? or is it only if they're trans? what's the explanation here
autism tests are so funny. I'm extremely literal most of the time, but people don't tell me that generally, so I'm inclined to answer disagree. because I'm taking the statement too literally
^not my post but same sentiment
the thing about art is that sometimes you'll be moved to tears by stuff that is not very good
My favorite crack theory is "1990 comedy film Kindergarten Cop starring Arnold Schwarzenegger takes place in Silent Hill"
The dev's are on record saying they used the school as reference for understanding what an American school looks like. This isn’t a theory, it's fact
So, actually, Silent Hill takes place in Kindergarten Cop.
Hey, everyone!
I guess this is the year of Dental Issues. Everyone I know keeps having them, and in my hubris I thought how lucky I am that my teeth are the only thing about my body that hold up.
That remains ☝️mostly true, but I have a terrible cavity that’s been troubling me for a few months now, along with some gum issues. It’s become very painful to use my mouth for anything.
I’ve been scheduled in for an appointment after finally finding a dentist who’s covid/all infections conscious (I’m immunodeficient).
The issue being that I don’t have dental coverage for this. The initial appointment (exam/xrays/cleaning/cavity) will be $550, which I simply will not have in time. So I have to ask for help.
I’m not going to make a GoFundMe for the amount because its platform takes a cut. It’s a lot of money, but not so much that it’s worth it to have a third party fundraiser involved.
Instead here is my Ko-Fi!
My appointment is in a month, so I have that long to raise the funds.
Y’all have done so much to support me in the past; don’t feel obligated now!
Thank you, either way!
This is true! Thanks for the advice!
