The Surgeon said he would not operate on me (which was what I wanted to hear, since I have had some bad luck with that in the past year). He was a surgeon I trust to keep the bs to a minimum. It was good to know that I did not need surgery unless I wanted to fix a cosmetic problem where the scar healed incorrectly. There is no pain coming from that site, so I'm not concerned about that (looks just aren't that important). He told me to drink more water and take a fiber supplement. Good news! I'm so on it!
Up and down we go, wee! Today is an in-between day. I want to get things accomplished, I just lack the motivation to do so. Perhaps I can overcome that. Ok painting, here I come...maybe.

Never before have I heard a president referred to as "Mr. their last name" rather than "Mr. President" or "President their last name" What has changed? Why do I keep hearing radio commentators and tv anchors referring to him as "Mr. Obama", rather than "Mr. President"? This really miffs me. Not sure why, but it does. Yes I am sure why, because it seems to me like it is the media's way of showing less respect to him. I am bothered, really bothered, because he already seems to be doing more for America than I have seen other presidents in office do in my lifetime. I wondered when I voted if he really would make a difference, he seems to be trying pretty darned hard. Now, lets show him some respect already!
It seems I have lost not one, but three rings of importance. My wedding ring, my engagement ring,a nd my Mom's replacement engagement ring (the original was stolen when I was little and was playing in Mom's jewelry box with a kid down the street). Hopefully they are around the house somewhere, but they have been missing since November. I hope they were not stolen.

We are so excited! We are expecting a baby girl Sept 15th. Her due date is the 22nd, but the c-sect is planned due to Ju's birth. I have been in school, and have been quite busy nesting. It is nice to visit lj and see how everyone has been doing. I look forward to catching up.
