I thought my friend 
stacerock1 was cool as hell, until I found out about her unyielding ardor for Brittany Murphy. The bitch even saw Uptown Girls in the theatre! Needless to say, this caused quite a riff in our friendship. However, being the mature adult I am, I tried to let it go, play it cool, remain unphased. Days passed, the waters had calmed, in fact, everything seemed even-keel... until the bitch publicly rehashed the argument LiveJournal-style!
Um, THROW DOWN!!!
This community spawned from that severe disagreement. I mean, admit it jerk, you love arguing about celebrities, and now you have an electronic public forum in which to do so. Defend your obsession with Sarah Jessica Parker*. Coerce other people to acknowledge the evil of Debra Messing*. If you think you can make a case for your most beloved or most abhored celebrity... BRING IT ON (as Kirsten Dunst might say)!
